Threads is the debut album from London producer Om Unit. Across its fifteen tracks Threads articulates Om Unit's musical journey from his beginnings to the present. It references his hip hop background, in the swung out, hypnotic headnod of 'Wall of Light' and the positive message of 'Just Sayin'', a collaboration with the mysterious Gone The Hero, (who will be stepping out of the shadows on Jneiro Jarel's Label Who imprint in 2014,) and touches on the music that has impacted him in recent years such as dubstep, the bassweight of which anchors the album. Dubstep's influence is most obvious in the eyes-down roller 'Nagual' and the deeply emotive 'The Silence' featuring vocalist Jinadu. There are also hints of slow-mo house's chug, a sound Coles first experimented with upon taking the Om Unit name. It's this slow groove that drives the spellbinding 'Patients' featuring Young Echo's MC Jabu, who gives life to the beat with poetic raps, and it's also central to the 2013 reworking of 'The Corridor', a track from the first Om Unit release. Here Coles slows the original's key elements down even further while managing to keep all the slow moving, hypnotic magic of the original. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, the album is grounded in Coles' junglistic roots, a relationship that has driven much of his recent output and DJ work. Here it takes on its most refined form yet, equally apparent throughout but obviously manifested on the most dancefloor friendly tracks: 'Jaguar', 'Wicker and Pearl' and 'Governer's Bay'. These three tracks close the album but not before one more parting shot, the deeply meaningful 'The Road' featuring London's urban poet, and legend, Charlie Dark.

Hectic has taken up a remixing this track adding extra spice to it, making the release complete. 

Hailing from California, U.S., 23 year old L'Raquel is an exciting new name in the world of electronic / dubstep and trap. Active for over a year now, she already released a long list of tracks like "Never Drink Wine", "Blaze", "High For This", "F*ck With Me", "Mirror Mirror", "Roll One Up" (with Yung Incredible) and many others. She had her debut release on Rub-A-Duck only a few months ago with ‘Mind Ya Bizness’ together with F.I.69. 
Not pussyfooting around with a dime a dozen lyrics, L'Raquel represents a much needed breath of fresh air in today's avalanche of sugar coated, radio friendly female acts. 

Having grown up on the art of British electronic musicians (Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers left their imprint on the fragile teenager mentality), Russian O.Crow could not ignore the emergence of U.K. Garage in the late 90's, which led to her interest in dubstep. Although O.Crow always preferred the underground in her music preferences, she does not limit herself by one style and believes that high quality and interesting music can be found in any direction. However, the most bright emotions of the O.Crow causes heavy bass music, and it’s special musical vision she always wants to share with others.

Evol Intent and Ewun - The Rapture (throwback VIP)

J Fogel aka Stray made his first appearance on Exit Records in 2011 with the musically rich masterpiece 'Pushed' which featured on the Mosaic Vol 1 mixed artists LP and was a great insight into his production ability and an indication that he was a talent about to flourish. His second outing on Exit was the mighty 'LA Zoom' on Mosaic Vol 2 which was one of the most anticipated tracks on the album and set the tone for many of his current productions with the fusion of footwork, jungle and dnb foundations.

The 'Matchsticks' EP is his first full release on Exit and comes in the form of a four track 12" with heavy support from DJs such as  Giles Peterson, Mark Pritchard, Om Unit, Machine Drum Alix Perex, Annie Mac, Lenzman and dBridge amongst many more.  Picking up from where 'LA Zoom' left off we stay in the same vein with 'Prof Popper' 'Dropping Bombs' and his collab with Fracture on 'Bounce That'. All of which are loaded with energy and have been going off in DJ sets across the globe over the last few months. The title track 'Matchsticks' is a Dillaesque hip hop Instrumental which again shows us that Stray's musical ambition is certainly not limited to any fixed style and rounds off the EP nicely.
