I had *so* much fun making and mixing this. I might do more F-Zero down the road! It was invigorating to challenge my skills on guitar to produce something that, for the longest time, I thought outside of my realm of skills. I hope it shows!

Man, I fucking love Earthbound battle music. Its like New Jack Swing from hell. There's no music like it that I've found.

I decided not to embellish it and kind of keep it close to the original... of course, this would be a really fun jumping off point for some crazy shit.

I had started this particular project around the time the Octo Expansion released. The (concept) stage was based around the idea that you have no ink, and that you must reach the goal while also not touching the opposing ink color. I thought this would be a neat idea, because often times you may find yourself needing to flee while playing against others online, and you may not have time to ink the ground.

This original piece was mostly useful for testing some different ways to do stuff.

One step into the deeper reaches of the Habara Department store and things start getting really strange. Refrigerators and Vacuum cleaners start wanting your blood and travelling in and out of virtual worlds become normal.
