ModGoblin Records began in 2015, created by Josh 
Balsdon (Audiospazm) and Jason Sorensen (Oddrapod) both from FNQ Australia. 
Formed on the basis of having a Local FNQ, and Australian Dark prog/psy label, to unify the talented Australian dark prog producers/DJ's. ModGoblin aims to be part of the bigger community, and as for the Goblin's, friendship, support, and a family-ideal is something ModGoblin firmly believes in.
With intentions to spread the deep, dark and the mystical side of Intelligent Progressive/Psygressive trance and also support international underground artists and Dj's.

The ModGoblin sound can best be described as “Dark and Mystical, Tech-like percussion with Psychedelic elements and high quality, futuristic sound design”. 
The distinct sound of "ModGoblin Records" can not be missed... Using darkness, distortion, Groove, organic and animalistics- eerie and ominous soundscape's, focusing on the unknown, and undiscovered. 
The ModGoblin crew strives to create something unique, something different - and are always looking for the next boundary to push.

‘Erb is the alter ego of Jacob McMillan — a resident member of the Far North Queensland collective and Co-Director of Rootbound Festival.

His passion and dedication to alternative psychedelic culture have not gone unnoticed. Having been deeply involved in producing some of the region’s most memorable gatherings over the past decade, Erb has cemented his place as one of FNQ’s most active promoters and DJs.

Erb’s journeys are never the same — each set is tailored to the occasion, with flow and style adapting to the moment. Sometimes heavy, dark, and twisted; sometimes light, fluid, and beautiful; often somewhere in between — but always intelligent, immersive, and deeply psychedelic.

In 2018, Erb joined the Zenon Records family, proudly representing the label in Far North Queensland - the very place where Zenon history was written many moons ago.
