The title track ‘The Music’ starts off the EP in true liquid fashion. With soothing piano riffs, bold oscillating basslines and a sample that sits beautifully on top, this track is the perfect beginning to a stellar showcase of the talent these two producers possess. Next up, it’s ‘Stolen Glances’. With a luscious vocal from Sammie Bella, this tune is chilled, gorgeously balanced and certainly a fixture on any summer evening playlist! ‘Bad Habit’ is the 3rd track of the EP, bringing an epic old school vibe with the vocal sample and hard hitting drop. Filled with big drums and gritty basslines, the dark is accompanied well with light, floaty melodies and intelligent transitions. They finish the EP with ’Walk away’. This track ends the record in style with its catchy vocals and uplifting, energetic vibes throughout. Dropping on Soulvent Records, 19/04/2015, this EP is a well balanced, truly sublime piece of music. A radiant, intelligently produced soundtrack to the summer.

If you've not been living under a rock for the past year or so, then Soulvent Records shouldn't be an unfamiliar label to you. The East London based label have been putting out a steady string of solid releases - and bring you something equally pleasurable to get your ears around. This release comes in the form of Retronics, also known as, Hungarian-born, Daniel Nyari. ’This Will Come/Even If' marks his first release under his new alias and with Soulvent. 'This Will Come' opens with an uplifting atmospheric intro and sombre vocals. The swelling bass indicates where you're headed as a robotic catchy melody and large drum build drop into a huge bass driven roller. 'Even If' starts with a slow build, supported by a heavy bassline. Crisp drums kick in and lead you into a subtle pre-drop roll only to leave you struggling for breath as the tune drops with full force. Retronics approaches his production with a measured ear, cleverly blurring the lines between sub-genres and making this release a must have for any DJ.

Hospital's leading dancefloor duke Danny Byrd has taken things straight back to ’99 with ‘Devil’s Drop’. Firing on all cylinders he's keeping it raw, rolling and funky. In a similarly devilish fashion we have 'Bootstrap Bill’ finally unleashed by the enigmatic Unglued. Unashamedly destructive and executed with precision, this track is more dangerous than Donald Trump drunk on Twitter.

In a perfect fusion of Hospital and Med School, we see Fred V & Grafix's 'Hurricanes (Wild Love)' re-worked with pristine precision by everyone’s favourite prodigy Keeno. Keeping the vibe level at eleven, Hugh Hardie's delivered the gorgeous ‘Nightingale’, both seductively simple and oozing with elegance.

‘Just One Second’ by London Elektricity gets its first re-work since the late Apex’s famous remix on the very first Sick Music. The beautiful track see’s a sterling contemporary edit and is a testament to Mitekiss’ talent.

This album also brings the first solo single from the biggest name in D+B right now, Kings Of The Rollers. Fiercely pushing into new territory ‘Burnt Ends’ has been causing carnage on the dancefloor, getting double wheel-ups from across the globe.

Joining this rich tapestry of exemplary D+B are both veteran composers and new blood alike including: Klute, Whiney, Urbandawn, Reso, Logistics, John B, and of course Hospital Records' commander-in-chief London Elektricity.

The release will be available across all formats but its grandest form will take that off the highly limited box set. Featuring a CD, the 4x12” plates, some box set only stickers and an exclusive T-shirt. One for the collectors, this is not a release to be overlooked.
