EMEX is the latest project from Modular Expansion, marking the reunion of George Apergis and Alex Retsis after eight years. Together, they've developed EMEX Live in an entirely new dimension. This release features two techno tracks with a classic old-school flavor, recorded during the EMEX Live performance at the Phygital Audiovisual event. Phygital, an immersive experience curated by Modular Expansion, was supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture and the National Opera. Held at the Castle of Rio, the event showcased live audiovisual performances that blended digital and physical instruments.

Ruff, es un dj y productor madrileño adicto a la fusión de ritmos, componente del colectivo T.N.G.S. 

Tras 10 años de trabajo y dedicación en el mundo de la producción musical y el arte de la mezcla. Se ha estrenado este año con su primer Ep en solitario en Exitus Records,sello en el que también ha participado con un track en un V.A. que ha salido en formato vinilo y en Rkdistrict otro Ep en conjunto con Jhonass.

También ha trabajado en salas como Fabrik, Siroco,Saw Room y en The Finka Club.

Ruff is a DJ and producer from Madrid with a passion for blending rhythms. He is a member of the T.N.G.S collective.

After 10 years of work and dedication in the world of music production and the art of mixing. This year, he made his solo debut with his first EP on Exitus Records, a label where he also contributed a track to a vinyl-released V.A. compilation. Additionally, he released a collaborative EP with Jhonass on Rkdistrict.

Ruff has also showcased his talent in renowned venues such as Fabrik, Siroco, Saw Room, and The Finka Club.

J.Blofeld is an emerging techno DJ and producer who is conquering dancefloors worldwide with his unique sound. Born and raised in Heidelberg, he discovered his passion for electronic music at an early age and developed a deep enthusiasm for the experimental and rhythmic sounds of techno. His musical influences range from the early pioneers of the genre to modern, deep, and progressive techno sounds, making him an innovative representative of today’s techno scene. His career gained significant momentum when he released his debut EP 47 in 2022, catching the attention of music lovers and club DJs alike.

J.Blofeld’s productions are characterized by hypnotic basslines, dark melodies, and driving beats that create a powerful atmosphere both in the studio and on stage. He has released music on renowned labels such as SUARA, Arkham Audio, and Out of Place, and has received support from well-known artists in the techno scene. Modular Expansion was founded by George Apergis and has run successfully, since 1998. The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Schwefelgelb, Yanamaste, Parallx, Philipp Strobel, Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanhaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin, Kevin De Vries, Subjected and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens

In 2012 come the label of Modular Expansion Records, with releases and the support of global fame artists which has been the baseline to follow up events abroad and especially in Berlin, with gigs in clubs like Suicide, Berghain, Tresor, Sisyphos and many more.
