The Touch Infinity project involves the creation of works of art based on Spira and the way it is harmonized in modern art, an action with an emphasis on design and contemporary electronic music. We live in a spiral galaxy. The first sensation that a spiral shape gives is the image of evolution and the will to touch the infinity. Modern technology and binary code give us the ability to touch the infinity. EMEX is the emergent project of George Apergis, one of the pioneers of the Hellenic Electronic Dance Scene and owner of Modular Expansion which has to its credit actions within the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens including vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. As part of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture’s 2024 program “All of Greece, One Culture”, Modular Expansion organized “Phygital”, an immersive event showcasing live audiovisual performances. These performances blended digital and physical-analog musical instruments, complemented by digital projection. The event took place at Rio Castle in collaboration with the Greek National Opera and the Archaeological Service.
The Phygital event is structured into three distinct live music performances of contemporary electronic music artists George Apergis and Alex Retsis, alongside simultaneous digital artwork projections by the artistic group DEN. This includes visual haikus, a collage of brief micro-compositions combining instrumental and synthetic forms, connected by a deconstructive and unpredictable storytelling.
In the first hour, the audience had the experience of a digital live music performance by Qebo (Alex Retsis), featuring a blend of electroacoustic and ambient music inspired by the architecture of the castle. The second hour highlights the EMEX project by George Apergis and Alex Retsis, blending physical-analog instruments with digital technology to offer a dynamic interplay between digital and analog sounds. The final hour was dedicated to an analog live performance where George Apergis will exclusively use vinyl records. Unrilis presents a collaborative raw and hypnotic techno EP by Fractious and Namhar.

Working together for the first time, Fractious and Namhar live on opposite sides of the globe. Fractious is a Northern Irish artist from Belfast, Namhar is an Indian artist living in Guwahati, and both are making their Unrilis debut.

Fractious heads up the RAW WORX record label, which has been a regular outlet for his own music, but he has also featured on other respected imprints such as Christian Smith's Tronic, Kaiserdisco's KD RAW, and Harthouse.

Namhar first made contact with Fractious when releasing an EP on RAW WORX, which led to a mutual respect for each other's music and inspired them to collaborate. Namhar has also worked with other imprints ranging from Diffuse Reality to Trapez.

"Hypnotic Haze" is the EP's title track, and it opens the release with bleeping melodies and sweeping dystopian pads stretched over fast-paced percussion. "Tectonic Echo" has pitched tom drums and rhythmic synth stabs forming a stripped back groove with rumbling low-end frequencies. "Voltage Veil" closes the release with trippy acid synths and the high-velocity energy of raw percussion.

The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Schwefelgelb, Yanamaste, Parallx, Philipp Strobel, Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanhaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin, Kevin De Vries, Subjected and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens
