After spending 15 years in London, he moved to Chamonix, France, in 2010 where he launched two vinyl labels: Knotweed Records (2011) and Decision Making Theory (2013). He has a string of techno releases on his own labels, as well as on Rekids, Involve, Figure SPC, EartoGround etc.

He has played at Tresor, Suicide Circus, La Graviere, Batofar, Weetamix, Corsica Studios, and Berghain to name a few.

The result is brilliant thanks to the contribution of great artists such as Radio Slave, Honey Dijon, Mark Broom, Adriana Lopez and Shlomi Aber.
When it comes to Radio Slave, no one can ever remain indifferent to the quality of Matt Edwards' production. Once again it has hit the mark by re-interpreting "Inside" by Gaetano Parisio in a masterly way. The track is a continuous crescendo but always well anchored to its original groove.

The great British producer, Mark Broom, once again leaves no doubt about his ability to create real dace-floor killers. Seems that his edit was created to challenge the sound systems of all clubs around the world. It is the dream of all DJs to play a track of such impact during a party. His version remains faithful to the original but it has that broomish which makes it super catching.

Honey Dijon, an absolute star in the world techno firmament, makes her debut on Conform with her Re Rub interpretation of a classic like Dual Ep by C&G Southsystem, the project created by Gaetano Parisio and Marco Carola. Honey puts all of her Chicago background into this version. By adding vocal she manages perfectly to make two such different schools coexist, the Neapolitan one and the Chicago one. The result is simply sublime.

Likewise, it’s a debut on the label also for Adriana Lopez absolutely respected throughout the techno scene for her extreme quality music. Her interpretation leaves no room for doubt that she doesn’t like middle ways. Her remix is ​​dark and hypnotic at the same time. Adriana gave her best and the delivery it’s just outstanding.

The grand finale takes place with the digital bonus track. Ben Sims “Carnival part one” re-edited by Shlomi Aber. This is definitely the icing on the cake! 
If you are a DJ you’ll immediately desire to play this track as soon as possible. His edit it’s just perfect leaving intact the original vibe of the English legend’s track. It’s tribal groove echoes the early 2000s sound. For those who love the genre this is unmissable.

George Apergis is an established techno artist with a career more than 20 years. He is also known as EMEX and he is the founder of Modular Expansion which is based in Athens & Berlin. After his highly successful releases of 'Quelle' & 'Ekhowax' on Modular Expansion, he strikes back after eight years with a solo compact release 'Waxtrax EP'. First track 'Hey Hey' is a perfect groovy club tool with an old-school voice, an instant hit! Second one is 'Dubwax', a minimal dub techno track with Detroit and Berlin influence, evolving pads, dub chords and stabs, subby basses that give the characteristic sound of George Apergis. The third track 'Ekhotrax' is a hypnotic hard kicker theme with dark atmospheres, minimal synth lines followed by trippy arpeggios. The release is closing with a remix of the classic 'Medusa', one of the early first George Apergis releases in 2005. Under his EMEX moniker George transforms 'Medusa' to a hard kicker track with rave synth lines, percussive rhythms that goes beyond a pumping futuristic version and creates a perfect rave tool.

"Atmospheric Saga I" eases in with a lighthearted, spacey vibe of melodic xylophone hits followed by deep chords that expertly captivate the mood over warm, rolling drums.

Second up "Atmospheric Saga II" opts for a more jovial, jackin' beat and bassline that is perfectly contrasted with its harmonic drones filling the speakers with dreamy textures.

Closing with "Atmospheric Saga III" and a more considered journey of sound, painting pictures of soaring above coastlines while also firmly grounded in funk with the pristine shaker licks.

The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998.
