George Apergis is an established techno DJ, with a career of more than 20 years. He is also known as  EMEX and he is the founder of Modular Expansion records & Εvents. Since 2013, he curates the “Modular Expansion Podcast” series that features a premier list of international artists and received widespread recognition. 
George Apergis has releases and remixes in labels such us Made of Concrete, Bellboy, LCR, Paranoid Dancer, Omega Audio and many more. His releases “Quelle” - “Ekhowax” and “Waxtrax:“on Modular Expansion were highly successful and they have been supported from worldwide artists. In 2020 released “The Abduction of Europa EP” together with his long time friend Alexander Kowalski on Made of Concrete. His music has been remixed by international artists like Truncate, Zadig, Dave Tarrida, Johannes Volk, NX1, Lee Holman, to name but a few. 
EMEX aka George Apergis plays dj-sets only with vinyls and has performed already alongside artists such as The Advent, Drumcell, Monoloc, Truncate, Terence Fixmer, Ø [Phase], Shifted, Answer Code Request, Subjected, Brian Sanhaji, Distant Echoes, Psyk, Kevin De Vries, Ness and many more. He has performed in many clubs in Europe, such as the legendary Berghain, Sisyphos, Suicide Circus and Tresor in Berlin, Werkhaus in London, Moog and Macarena in Barcelona, Rashõmon and Städlin in Rome, clubs in Warsaw, Moscow and the most prestigious clubs & festivals in Greece.
In 2014 George Apergis creates EMEX; an emergent techno project which his signatures sound is an eminent mix of hard techno beats, minimal acid synth-lines and dub chords. EMEX has releases on Modular Expansion, Etruria Beat, Syxt, Denude, Credo, Demarcation and Konsequent. EMEX has released five vinyls on Modular Expansion. In 2015 released its debut vinyl powered by KORG, which entitled "00110001" and won the Silver Award at European Design Awards. Follow the releases of "Z80A", "Hyperion", "Zex" and "Mimas" on Modular Expansion. In 2019 did a bomb remix on Bastian Balders - Jukka on Konsequent records. . 
EMEX music has been remixed by artists like Alexander Kowalski, Brian Sanhaji, Subjected, Radial, SLV, Progression and Developer. Also, EMEX and George Apergis music has been supported by world-class artists such as Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Luke Slater, Tommy Four Seven, DVS1, Rødhåd, Jonas Kopp, Bas Mooy, The Advent, Ilario Alicante, Slam, Dax J, SNTS to name but a few.

Biography:
Jens Mueller comes from Essen, the heart of Germany’s Ruhr region and in true German fashion Jens Mueller is the master of all things Techno. Jens has been behind the decks lighting up dance floors since 1994 and has played set’s at some of the Europe’s most prestigious events such as Love Parade and Nature One Festival. 

Jens Mueller has been producing music for as long as he can remember and it certainly shows by some of the incredible tracks he has released on Labels like ‘Dolma’, ‘Autektone Dark’, ‘Reload Black’ Agile’ and many more. Jens draws inspiration from the likes of Chris Liebing, DJ Rush, Andreas Kraemer and Steve Stoll. After working on a variety of web-radio shows and searching for the newest up and coming talent in the Techno scene, Jens went on to develop his label called Sound Kleckse Records. Sound Kleckse debuted back in 2009 with Jens’ famous ‘My Name Is Roland EP’

A keen advocate for indie labels, Jens champions new artists and those who build platforms to enhance music all whilst sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge. The rest of the industry are also taking notice as Jens has been featured in some of the industries leading blogs and online magazine such as One EDM, Hypestorm, ElectroWow and Global Techno Magazine.

Modular Expansion was founded by George Apergis and has run successfully, since 1998. The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Schwefelgelb, Yanamaste, Parallx, Philipp Strobel, Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanhaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin, Kevin De Vries, Subjected and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens

In 2012 come the label of Modular Expansion Records, with releases and the support of global fame artists which has been the baseline to follow up events abroad and especially in Berlin, with gigs in clubs like Suicide, Berghain, Tresor, Sisyphos and many more.
