Trømmel es un amante de la composición musical creada y diseñada totalmente desde cero, tanto en estudio, lugar donde se encuentra más cómodo, como en sus actuaciones en vivo. Desarrolla todo ello con instrumentos electrónicos, aunque a veces lo hace en formato DJ set.

Para reflejar sus inquietudes y la visión tanto sonora como visual que lleva persiguiendo desde hace ya unos años, a finales de 2022 crea una plataforma a modo de comunidad creativa llamada NODO, que por una parte hace funciones de sello discográfico independiente. Este se enfoca principalmente en el techno con pocos elementos y BPMs lentos, rozando en ocasiones la experimentación sonora con texturas y ritmos poco habituales en las pistas de baile, queriéndose alejar totalmente de las vertientes más de moda. Una plataforma creada especialmente para lanzar su propia música, donde tener el control total de todas las decisiones de lanzamientos, estética de portadas, videos y demás. A su vez, la plataforma le permite descubrir nuevos artistas afines a su línea.

La otra parte de NODO es un evento innovador que combina la sincronización de lo visual con lo sonoro en vivo, proponiendo una vez al mes en Madrid una programación de conciertos audiovisuales de música electrónica, sin ensayos y muchas veces sin conocerse entre artistas. Es una única unión a través de la música, video y público a modo de nodos creativos, donde se llegan a crear momentos mágicos.

Para esta ocasión, nos trae un DJ set del techno más crudo, áspero y oscuro.

Trømmel is a lover of musical composition created and designed entirely from scratch, both in the studio, where he feels most comfortable, and in his live performances. He develops all of this with electronic instruments, although sometimes he does it in DJ set format.

To reflect his concerns and the sonic and visual vision he has been pursuing for some years now, in late 2022 he created a platform in the form of a creative community called NODO, which on one hand functions as an independent record label. This label is primarily focused on techno with few elements and slow BPMs, occasionally bordering on sonic experimentation with textures and rhythms unusual on dance floors, aiming to completely distance itself from more trendy styles. A platform created especially to release his own music, where he has total control over all decisions regarding releases, cover aesthetics, videos, and more. At the same time, the platform allows him to discover new artists aligned with his vision.

The other part of NODO is an innovative event that combines the synchronization of visuals with live sound, offering a monthly program of audiovisual electronic music concerts in Madrid. These events are held without rehearsals and often without the artists knowing each other, creating a unique union through music, video, and audience as creative nodes, where magical moments are created.

For this occasion, he brings us a DJ set of the rawest and darkest techno.

In this complex landscape, we find ourselves in an open field where 10,000 beings incessantly discuss points, flaws, races, knots. The confusion is such that often only emptiness remains, invading solitude, questioning: Which one will I be?
This is the search for a route. The path is short, hurried with calm, avoiding noise and reevaluating positions. The pen moves quietly to find meaning, even when only zero remains.
The album proposes retracing routes and paths: from digital to parchment, in an attempt to keep proportions and reevaluate positions and find the soul among what is subtext, spatial note. An exploration of the noble human, the poor nightcloth in times of resounding atrocious words and damp weights and measures.

Modular Expansion was founded by George Apergis and has run successfully, since 1998. The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Schwefelgelb, Yanamaste, Parallx, Philipp Strobel, Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanhaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin, Kevin De Vries, Subjected and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens
