Fabrizio Lapiana is a well-known fixture on the contemporary Italian techno scene. His musical career started in his hometown Rome where he began collecting vinyl and DJ’ing in the early 90’s. After being mainly active on the local scene, Fabrizio in 2008 started producing and founded his own imprint, the well renowned Attic Music. The label quickly expanded from hosting just Fabrizio’s work into also releasing other artists fitting his personal definition of techno. To date Fabrizio has over two handfuls of releases, Attic Music serves as home to some of these, but also other respected labels such as ARTS, Figure Jams and M_Rec Ltd to mention a few.

Our 200th Global Vibe Radio episode is spearheaded by London-based Arnaud Le Texier, well-known for running and releasing on the highly-revered Children of Tomorrow imprint, as well as for his other releases on labels such as Affin, Chronicles, Cocoon, Soma, and Safari Electronique, just to name a few.

Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around the world perfected Arnaud’s DJ skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent figure. Since 2006 Arnaud lives in London where he has been a regular DJ at Fabric for the last 10+ years. In London, Arnaud runs Children Of Tomorrow since 2011, a label created by Emmanuel Ternois in 2008.

Arnaud is also producing with Antonio De Angelis under their Detect Audio's alias.

Ậ.DENIẬL, also known as Annes, is from Russia, and she first entered the DJ world at the age of 14. Ậ.DENIẬL's first steps in underground techno and breakbeat was at St. Petersburg's first techno called club "Tunnel". 

With several festivals and clubs shows under her belt, her career spans 12 years behind the DJ decks and in 2019 she created her own event series called Sacred Sound Events. Guest artists have included Kwartz(Order&Devotion/PoleGroup rec), Reeko(Mental Disorder/PoleGroup rec), P.e.a.r.l.(Falling Ethics/PoleGroup rec), Mario Berger(Tresor).

This mix captures the last Sacred Sound/Underground event on August 21, 2020 at RAF25. Her sets are characterized by a hypnotic mood with groovy bass in a psychedelic atmosphere sprinkled with shamanic textures.

Modular Expansion was founded by George Apergis and has run successfully, since 1998. The name “Modular Expansion” is inspired from the first analog modular synthesizers of which different parts were connected between each-other, forming an expansion.Modular Expansion is a cultural body of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and has to its credit actions with the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Athens. Actions such as vinyl releases, art videos and publishing events. He is also a European Design Award holder, Silver Award in 2016 in the category Music & Films Covers. Modular Expansion have events in a lot of European cities and famous places like Berghain, Tresor, Suicide, Sisyphos, Renate, Birgit in Berlin, also in cities like London, Rome, Barcelona, Sofia, Warsaw, Moscow, Tel Aviv and at the most prestigious places in Athens.

Modular Expansion is one of the first teams which started organizing Techno events in Athens in 1998. In the end of the 90s began to host artists from the labels such as Tresor, Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, presenting the Berlin underground music vibe and making techno popular in the Greek capital. Founder of Modular Expansion known as George Apergis performs already in 2002 at the legendary Tresor in Berlin. Counting in his history more than 1000 events and hundreds of guest artists like Adam Beyer, The Advent, Alexander Kowalski, Truncate, Ø [Phase], Schwefelgelb, Yanamaste, Parallx, Philipp Strobel, Psyk, dj Rolando, Monoloc, Drumcell, Brian Sanhaji, Radial, Substance, Vainqueur, Johannes Volk, Funk D Void, Dave Tarrida, Sender Berlin, Kevin De Vries, Subjected and many more belongs in one of the oldest teams in the city of Athens

In 2012 come the label of Modular Expansion Records, with releases and the support of global fame artists which has been the baseline to follow up events abroad and especially in Berlin, with gigs in clubs like Suicide, Berghain, Tresor, Sisyphos and many more.
