As a producer since 2015, Ricardo Raschilla also known as Black Opps, started to listen and love underground sounds still 90's with hip hop movement, dub sounds and Jungle in Sao Paulo - Brazil (his birth coutry), Influenced by legends like Noisia, Alix Perez, Breakage, Halogenix, Monty, Skeptical, he has as its main base sounds of the type, Minimal, Rollers, Soulfull, and deep vibes, With several releases in reputable labels such as Addictive Behavior, Soulvent, Boey Audio, and participation in labels like Dispatch, Skank and Bass, Delta 9, among others. He also has already received support from acclaimed programs like Noisia Radio,  podcasts and radio programs on Rinse FM and BBC radio1, by artists like Marky, Randall, Random Movement, Joe Ford among others. MUR - Roots [Premiere]

After the success of our first various artists release, ‘The Voice of EKOU’, we’d like to present to you our next installment, ‘The Full Spectrum’. This project started as an idea to create a platform for up and coming producers, however over the previous months has developed into something that has allowed us to include both newcomers and established artists alike. 
	
In the 2 and a half years since our first release, we’ve been on a constant journey through sound, and have been a platform for a variety of artists, all of whom produce a variety of styles under the drum & bass umbrella. With ‘The Full Spectrum’, we hope to showcase our journey for you, our audience; some of you have been with us from the beginning, others are new to the label - either way we hope you know what to expect!

This is our representation of the full spectrum of drum & bass, and what the genre means to us. We hope you enjoy listening to this massive VA just as much as we did putting it together. 

‘The Full Spectrum’ has 22 tracks, split over 2 parts, and features both newcomers and seasoned artists alike. Part 1 drops exclusively on February 4th via Bandcamp and Beatport, followed two weeks later by Part 2 on February 18th.

What with drum & bass becoming ever more international, at Lifestyle we wanted to champion this fact and help shine a spotlight on the growing scenes outside of the UK. After last years landmark ‘Australian Connection LP’ we have turned our attention slightly closer to home, this time having organised the ‘Belgian Connection LP’. 

Belgium is country that has been synonymous with a strong rise in dnb in recent times, and we felt this country was the perfect place to launch the next release in our ‘Connection’ series. 

The producers from the land of beer and chocolate have really delivered, showcasing an all-round album with a little bit of something for everyone. Liquid, Half-time, Neuro, Tech, Rollers, whatever you want to call it, this release has it… 

We see this as another real defining moment for us as a label and Belgian drum & bass, and we couldn’t be prouder to be releasing this with our friends from just across the channel.
