We are excited to present the Taubira Remixes.
Two years ago we shared Dombrance's Taubira to celebrate the artist's debut show on American soil. That show was at the first of our legendary Bowery Ballroom parties in New York City.

We loved this track so much we persuaded the mighty Dombrance to let us compile a remix EP to give the track a new lease of life.

We have assembled a crack team of remixers - all of them frequent collaborators - dear to our hearts!

PRINS THOMAS / ICHISAN / JAMES ROD / JOSH LUDLOW

The package opens with the hypnotic, arpeggiated excellence of the original before handing the reins to the assembled remix team. The mixes are bookended by two adaptations from new kid on the block Josh Ludlow who opens things with a powerful club edit with a deep, heady feel and closes out with a pumping 80’s Italo rework. Between these two variations, we have the ‘Clan Disko Dub’ from respected Slovenian producer Ichisan who teams up with the Gouranga Clan to go down a percussive & acidic route. Alongside this, Spain’s James Rod turns in an extended and intense revision that takes things into tripped out, late-night territory.
At the centre of all this is the jewel in an already gleaming crown as Norwegian Cosmic God Prins Thomas takes the track down a psychedelic bass trip - stretched out over a blissful eleven minutes to create something truly timeless.

Ekonopolis is back with his new track Grimetalo. The track aims to a wide range of listeners of club formats with its choruses mixing synths in Italo Disco arpeggios. Not hesitating in rejecting genre in favour of his unique style, he mixes old-school house sublimated by a fast Rap vocal performed by an MC with a Tech House rhythm.

The 'Teach Me' EP by The Two Mamarrachos features the vocal talents of Snem K and comes packed with a super-strong set of remixes. Damon Jee, Rodion and Reverso 68 have all turned in edits but it's the Factory Floor remix that caught our eye.

Their remix is an analogue-lover's dream, one that showcases thick, chunky riffs and that builds from the off. It's weird and wonderful and exactly the sort of high production values we'd expect from Factory Floor.

Ride The Sus

@wonderstories 21   heads  to  Italy  where  we  find  a  duo  by  the  name  of  @Concretmusic   aka   Italo-Mexican   musician   Diego   Angelico Escobar and producer Q-pha. Known  for  their  all  night   sets   at   Burning   Man   as   part   of   the   Mayan   Warrior  collective, the   twosome   has   channeled   their   their   inspiration   from   the   desert   into   their   prowess   in   the   studio.   Together,   they submit   a   couple   of   ethereal,   stripped-back   and   driving   techno   tracks   that   compliment   each   other   so   well   they   appear to   be   brother   and   sister   from   the   same   session.   

On   remix  duties there is Timothy Clerkin aka Heretic, Man2.0 and fellow Italian @Rodion_gomma . The latter adding his  signature dark and highly danceable  sound  to  'Ritorno' .
