Temudo joins for DifferentSound Podcast #119.

The Portuguese João Rodrigues started his alias Temudo in 2014, As a music producer and DJ, Temudo is part of a new generation of artists whose work relies on the contemporary approach to Techno. His music allies the soul of the genre with a modern methodology, and has the seal of genre defining labels like Klockworks, Soma, Modularz, Mord or Warm Up. He’s one of the minds behind Hayes and runs his own Mastering Studio: Tema Mastering. As a DJ he navigates through the ramifications of Techno in 3 decks, in a fast paced eclectic journey.

Over the last years he saw some of his music being widely played, such as “Tough To Say” or “The Beholder” from the EPs “Unnecessary” and “Not The End But a Change”, both released on Soma, or “Jack and Verge” from the collaborative EP with Nørbak “I Will Guide Thy Hand”, released on Modularz. 2021 seems to be a productive year, with the debut on Ben Klock’s Klockworks and Oscar Mulero’s Warm Up with 2 acclaimed EPs.

Her music is supported by artists such as DVS1, Kr!z, Justine Perry, Claudio PRC, Psyk, Hypnotic Black Magic and many more. And in a short period of time she has already shared the stage with names like Oscar Mulero, Dustin Zahn, Setaoc Mass, Lindsey Herbert, Developer, u.r.trax and more.

Her style is defined by a combination of deep, hypnotic, raw and groovy sounds in both her productions and sets.
