Dutch drum & bass imprint Citrus Recordings has been renowned for kick starting the careers of numerous acts in the present day drum & bass scene. After releasing their last LP early 2013 they now push forward an Australian/German combo better known as Rregula & Dementia!

Having made a name for themselves with releases on Icarus Audio, DSCI4 and Full Force they are now properly focused and have been working eagerly on their latest project. This 15 track CD album could very well be the strongest release to date coming from these guys, hence the name ‘Turning Point’.

The full project will be released on two 12’’ pieces of wax and a CD. For the second 12’’ three heavyweights put their mark on the ‘Turning Point’ project creating a pair of superb remixes. Using the original version of ‘Timeline’ Optiv & BTK flip the track into a hefty stepper with a killer build up that can’t be ignored. This one is bound to inflict damage on the dancefloor!

Winter is coming as Icicle returns to the fore with his sophomore album, ‘Entropy’, released November 17th through Shogun Audio. Delivering his most developed and ferocious music to date, Icicle unleashes a tirade of bass weight, ready to blow the eyes and ears of the electronic music world into next year. Leaning from grime infested urban electronica through to emotionally charged trip hop and full on trademark sci-fi drum & bass, the resulting ‘Entropy’ is one of the most prime and compelling examples of hybrid dance music yet seen in 2014.

“My first album 'Under The Ice', was an attempt to showcase my influences and where I came from musically, it was in a sense retrospective. This new album is more of a look into what I think the future of this sound could be. The term ‘Entropy’ means a ‘state of disorder’ or 'measure of chaos' which I felt was a great metaphor for how my production style has evolved, diversified and developed over the years.

While the cinematic interludes lay out a path of ever increasing entropy, I've drawn in vocals from some of my favourite MC’s, Skittles, SP:MC and Foreign Beggars’ Metropolis alongside the very talented Sarah Hezen to join the dots between the energetic and the more musical moments. ‘Entropy' is a statement as to my personal progress in musicality and technique, and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I’ve enjoyed making it.” Icicle

Inspired by the likes of The Prodigy, Noisia, Bad Company UK, and Black Sun Empire, NickBee started producing drum & bass at age 15. One year later he began learning to mix. Within 3 months, he was debuting his skills in clubs. Flash forward five years and countless hours sitting at his PC, NickBee is a rising star in the European drum and bass scene. As a young producer, Nickbee has collaborated with the likes of Enei and Billain, while releasing music on highly respected labels like Horizons Music, Close 2 Death, Modulate Recordings, Dispatch, and Tamrecords. An impressive record for a 21 year old. Oh - and he's got forthcoming material on Bad Taste and Noisia's Invisible imprint, to boot. With one foot set in the future and another amongst neurofunk DNB's architects, Nick's trademark sound is not easily classified. Morphing, animalistic basslines project through sonic space in perfectly organized chaos, with structure provided by painfully sharp drums. Never conforming to any set mold, Nickbee's allegiance to innovation makes a quirky, experimental element a defining factor of his music. Perhaps most impressive is the young artist's mastery of next-level sound design, which is never forced or overdone; only tastefully applied in careful amounts, always striking that perfect balance of hi-tech and low-fi.

Pareidolia is a drum and bass collective born in 2015 and based in Bologna, Italy. 
In just one year they supported artists like Noisia, Mefjus, Nickbee, Black Sun Empire, Neonlight, Telekinesis, Rido, Disprove and released music for Section8(US) and Dbox(IT).
