Modulate #20 - Curatio

Sylvia Necker, a Minden and Hamburg (GER) based sound artist, historian and curator, is working on experimental electronic music, field recordings, sound art, electro-accoustic sounds and improvised music.

Since a few years she performs with her "space station" (Raumstation), a combination of different devices and synthesizers, often combined with visuals.

In years 2002-2013 she organized her own concert series for improvised music in Hamburg (www.freitagsmusik.de). She is also active at independent radio stations like FSK Hamburg (DE) and FRO Linz (AT) – www.klingklong-fsk.blogspot.com || www.fsk-hh.org || www.fro.at.

Modulate is a online livestream show from Berlin.
The show consists of a roster of different artists, all with varied approaches towards techno and electronic music more broadly.
They unveil their sound to you - the listener - and even try to push themselves to deviate from their usual sound, providing
listeners with a unique opportunity to hear sets that differ from their usual repertoires.
You can follow this journey starting on the 29th of October at 7:30pm on our YouTube page with new iterations released on a fortnightly basis.
