Clemency presents ‘Drum Circles Against Lamentation & The Crude Foyer’ - a two track single on 2 B REAL, drawing on Dub & Bleep Techno.

Following 2020’s highly acclaimed ‘References’ EP, this record sees Clemency lean further into her hypnotic dance stylings with two new cuts resolutely facing the dancefloor.

On the A side ‘Drum Circles Against Lamentation’ lays a mesmeric drum loop over tightly wound percussion and sub bass slugs to create an almost runaway momentum. On the flip, ‘The Crude Foyer’ sees Clemency plumbing the depths of atmospheric tension, building an imposing wall of moody sound over a slow motion beat.

A selection deeply intertwined with a long, bending, back-road tour amidst kaleidoscopic disorder. Sung from the Baltics to Portugal over 4 months in summer 2021. Including some understated favorites, new forthcoming material, unreleased home recordings, and field recordings of friend's performances along the route.
