We are excited to share with you the latest perception of Far Blue from an artist who we truly admire. Martinou has built a distinct sound, blending deep, atmospheric textures with intricate rhythms to form a soundscape that is both immersive and emotionally evocative. After having Martinou to play a closing set at Borisov for our Far Blue x Pintai event earlier this year, we could only look forward to the next time we would be able to share his music with you. An artist who truly pushes the boundaries with the tracks he produces and the mixes he puts together. 'ecotone' captures his essence of Far Blue, crafted entirely from his own creations.

"an ecotone is an area where two biological biomes meet and blend into each other. one biome may extend further into the other at one point and the lines can easily blur; where does one biome end and the other start? this is a recording of what i’ve come to uncover from my mind and record whilst in my innermost haven. like the ecotone, the music is always flowing, ever changing."

Today we are happy to share with you Bas Dobbelaer’s interpretation of Far Blue. The Amsterdam based DJ and producer is known for his distinct style, floating between energies with odd signatures and atmospheric sounds. 

With Echoes, Bas Dobbelaer takes you on an introspective journey where shifting rhythms and immersive atmospheres intertwine, creating a very deep contribution to the series.

“With this mix I tried to find the deeper layer of certain tracks and not limit myself too much with different tempo’s ranges. If it fits the vibe and helping the flow, it’s probably the right spot.

Creating a mix is an interesting creative outlet to discovering new possibilities and refining the art of setting the tone. Balancing on that thin line with endless opportunities, reflects the perfect capture of the feeling and learnings of today.”

Tarik Hensen are Martinou and Ben Kaczor – both talented artists in their own right. The stars aligned and they came together for their first release with their dubbed out track Dimma Lyset on the latest illaunamid EP. 

This Mix was born when the two met up in late Sept/early October in Malmo. What’s presented here is a beautifully crafted and perfectly built mix packed with their own music and music from other artists too.

Victor Kiktenko, professionally known as Module One, is an electronic music producer, live act and DJ based in Berlin. 

During his teenage years, Victor embarked on a journey to the United States as a student, where he had a chance to showcase his passion for modern electronic music through his radio show, "Emotions," aired on WMRS 107.7FM in Monticello, IN. Catering to a Midwest audience, he curated weekly episodes dedicated to different genres of modern electronic music, laying a strong foundation for his radio and music-related projects in the future.

Following his radio debut, Victor delved into music production and DJing under various aliases. These artistic endeavours eventually came together as the birth of his most distinct project, Module One.

Module One's discography displays a rich array of releases, including albums featured on labels such as Detroit Underground and Fauxpas Musik, as well as EPs on The Bricks, LumieresLaNuit, Another, Modular Expansion, Modelhart, Motech, Thema, and Uncage. Additionally, he has contributed to collaborative records for E-Beamz, Lost Palms, Shall Not Fade, and Dial. His tracks have found a home on various compilations across labels like Propaganda, Shall Not Fade, Paloma, and more.
