For our milestone tenth release on Soundplate Records, we welcome another new name to the label. Modul Kollektiv is the mysterious alias of an artist who has previously had big releases on several top labels including Dim Mak. His love for electronic music runs deep, as does his totally original style and glimmering synth sounds.
The release kicks off with 'Son' a mesh of sounds that take the listener on a journey with unique synth effects, lovely disco inspired bass and carefully sliced vocals.
The second track, Shades' is a darker shade of deep house. It's one for the clubs, just wait until you hear that monster of a drop! This is going to be testing sound systems all over the world.
Not much more is known about Modul Kollektiv apart from the undeniable fact that he makes amazing music, his first release very quickly caught the attention of the worlds leading dance music blogs and DJ's. He now has releases pencilled in with a few carefully selected top labels and a huge 2015 ahead of him.

▼ Modul Kollektiv has had a prosperous career producing under numerous synonyms within various genres, however with the arrival of his new moniker the budding artist is set to cement himself as one of the hottest bourgeoning producers within the realm of deep house. Late 2014 saw the elusive German producer’s debut release ‘Farbenfroh’ on Dirty Soul, a track name which translates to ‘colour’ and was suitably picked up by Holi Festival to be used as the promo track for their paint fuelled festival. Now with his colossal ‘Control’ release coming out on March 3rd on Kittball it unquestionable 2015 will be his most fruitful year to date.

Title track ‘Control’ takes no prisoners by delivering a sullen synth before a heartfelt vocal and fluttering atmospherics enrich the track with an elevating sensation that ought to fuel dancefloors throughout the year.
