Devil Box is a Finnish experimental blues band. 

Formed in the summer of 2012, Odd Hugo combine a distinctly Nordic energy with a mellow sound that’s warm and accessible. Twin vocals, strings and background brass embellishments combine to craft a unique experience. Theirs is a contemporary mix that manages to feel both familiar and fresh.
Odd Hugo performed in this years showcase festival "Tallinn Music Week 2013" and got a lot of motivating comments/feedback from international delegates.

2010. aasta lõpust tegutsenud Prägnantse Brigaadi (PräBri) alusepanijateks ja eestvedajateks on Rando Kruus ning Oliver Vare. 
Too kaksus on bändi loomingus esmatähtis tänaseni – kogu muusika keerleb ümber kahe vokaali, olgugi, et lisaks häältele ja kitarridele on ajaga lisandunud nii ukulele, trummid kui puhkpillid. PräBri on avaldanud kaks ametlikku muusikavideot:  "Half-Naked Bearded Man 1" ja "Stone Man", mis on edukalt figureerinud muusikavideosaates "Eesti TOP 7". Debüütalbum "Project no 0" ilmus 2011. aastal juunis, teine üllitis "Twirling EP" jaanuaris 2012, mille arvustuses Eesti Ekspressis ütles Siim Kera järgmist: "Emajõe indifolkrasedus. Millega siis tegu on? Ütleksin indi, aga see õigupoolest ei ütle midagi. Supeldakse samas meres, kus näiteks Fleet Foxes ja Andrew Bird, aga midagi on teistmoodi. Bluusimõjud löövad välja, mulle tuleb silme ette II maailmasõja eelne Ameerika: suitsused baarid, gangsterid ja pimedal alleel maas vedelev kuulihaavadega tüüp!"

Prägnantne Brigaad was founded at the end of 2010 by the frontmen Rando Kruus and Oliver Vare. To this day that versatile duality comprises the essence of the band - the music evolves around two vocals even though the number of instruments has increased from guitars to a ukulele, drums and brass.
In a review from the weekly newspaper Eesti Ekspress the poet Siim Kera wrote: 'Mother river indie folk pregnancy. What's it about? I'd say indie, then again that doesn't say anything. They swim in the flow of say Fleet Foxes and Andrew Bird but something's different. Blues influence kicks in, the pre-World War II America comes to mind: smokey bar scenes, gangsters and a guy laying on the ground of a dark alleyway shot full of bullets!'

Red started out in Orlando's infamous Studdogs. They blew up shortly after signing to Orange Recordings and Red moved home to Muscle Shoals, Al. Since then Red has released four records, toured the States and Europe, had two hit videos in Estonia with his friend Andres Roots and is still going! This writer of song, story and poem is indescribable! Gospel, field hollers, punk, blues, crooners and country inform him but none define him.

DAVE ARCARI – BIOGRAPHY

SLIDE guitarist & songwriter Dave Arcari’s alt.blues sounds owe as much to trash country, punk and rockabilly as they do pre-war Delta blues and have been showcased via eight internationally-acclaimed solo CD releases.

Official showcases at SxSW in Austin, Texas were a highlight of Arcari’s month-long tour of the southern US states in March 2015 and follows successful US tours in 2013 and 2014.

A new album – Givers & Takers – is scheduled for release in Autumn 2015. His last release – Whisky in my Blood – was released on Finnish record label Blue North in March 2013. As well as showcasing Arcari’s trademark National steel guitars, the release features performances on banjo, regular guitar and and cigar box which help capture the full breadth of Arcari’s song-writing and performance.

Arcari’s festival appearances include Glastonbury (UK); Peer Festival (Belgium); Moulin Blues (Netherlands); BluesAlive (Czech Republic & Poland shows); The Great British R&B Festival; and Augustibluus & ViruFolk (Estonia).

He has also played industry showcases at the North by North East (NxNE) music festival in Toronto, Canada and he was a finalist the UK Indy Music Awards reaching the top four in his category (best male solo artist).

With more than 100 UK dates a year plus regular shows in Finland, Estonia, France, Germany, Belgium, Poland and Canada, Arcari is one of the hardest gigging live artists on the circuit. A series of shows with folks including Steve Earle, Alabama 3, Seasick Steve, Toby Keith and Jon Spencer along with his relentless UK and European tour schedule have established Arcari as a formidable international solo performer who is fast building a media reputation as a ‘hell-raising National guitar madman’.


Viktor's Joy is the musical project of Estonian-born, Berlin-based songwriter and composer Kaarel Malken. Influenced by artists such as Elliott Smith, Vic Chesnutt, Mark Kozelek, and Jason Molina, Malken primarily composes in alternative tunings. His fingerpicked classical guitar creates an almost hypnotic backdrop for narrative-driven, autobiographical lyrics that explore themes ranging from the tragic to the mundane.
