Modus is a psychedelic music project, manifested by the Israeli producer - Asaf Tsemach (1989). Emerging into the Psytrance scene in a high volume debut on HOMmega Records, presenting a rare and missed flavor of sound designing, well spiced and served on his single “Organic Panic” (2017).
Followed by numerous releases on HOMmega, Nano Records, and Stereo Society (which became his home label), the young composer made high, stormy waves on all 5 continents within his first touring year, capturing the mind, hearts, and ears of anyone who had a chance to catch his performance on the well-known dance floors of Ozora Festival, Universo Paralello, Antaris Festival, Freedom Festival, and Esoteric Festival.

In 2021 after years in the making, Asaf gave light to his debut album - “The Future Is Behind Us” - Presenting 9 ORIGINAL TRACKS, ranging from 90 to 170 BPM, Modus diversity has not yet been deciphered. Is it "deep rooted style" or is it more of a "new wave style"? Fresh or old school? 

If you ask him, the question itself is the foundation of his musical concept - ״anything we do.. is a blend of references we've seen in the past and we give them our own interpretations.. It's all a cycle .. The egg paradox is something we are dealing with in our creative process.. specially in music.. specially these days in Psytrance..”

If you ask us, Modus presents a timeless approach to psychedelic music, the same rare and naive attitude we can find when listening to the old trance classics, something we’ve been longing to hear for some time. A fresh yet authentic approach to psychedelic music production, what we hope will eventually carve a time and space to his sound in any gathering.

I started as a DJ when I was 38 years old. That was in 2019.                                   I bought a mixer and two  players with my social security money.
It's possible that I'll get old with it.
Funk and Rock'n'roll mean something to me, so in electronic music, with soft and destructive sounds, I look for hard and clear beats, then the bass is missing. It should drive and sound funky.

Arkeya, c’est une énergie sincère, une passion profonde pour la musique et une curiosité sans limite. DJ et géologue de formation, elle puise son nom dans l’Archéen, une époque volcanique de la Terre primitive, marquée par un bouillonnement constant et une activité explosive. Cet imaginaire brut, en fusion, façonne sa démarche artistique : ses sets sont des paysages sonores volcaniques, traversés de vibrations profondes et d’intensités sismiques, entre éruption contrôlée et voyage intérieur.
Intégrée au label Hadra Records en 2024, elle explore avec authenticité les nuances de la psytrance progressive et full-on. Mais caméléon assumée, elle aime aussi mélanger les styles, ouvrir des ponts entre les ambiances et créer des sets évolutifs, toujours en lien avec l’atmosphère du lieu et l’énergie du public.
En dehors de la scène, Arkeya est pleinement investie dans l’équipe Hadra. Elle participe à l’action culturelle et partage son savoir à travers des formations de DJing, avec le souhait d’encourager et de transmettre sa passion. Militante pour une meilleure visibilité des femmes et des minorités de genre, elle défend des valeurs d’inclusivité et de diversité dans la scène psytrance.
Reconnue pour son sourire et son énergie communicative, Arkeya a marqué les esprits en ouvrant la mainstage du Hadra Trance Festival 2024, avec un set lumineux, puissant et généreux, laissant une empreinte aussi intense que mémorable.
