“Create music that emerges from the sound of fireworks”

I started by looping a particular part of the fireworks recording that sounded like it had a certain rhythm. Timed the BPM and added a somewhat straight beat so the fireworks acted as kind of a unique back beat. Then layered synth tracks as well as ambient tracks made from the field recording. Later I got bored and messed with it in Girl Talk in a Box, static.echonest.com/girltalkinabox/index.html, the app we experimented with in a previous Junto assignment. That girl talk part is about 2/3 the way through the piece.
