I tried to incorporate a lot of different interpretations of the phrase "Old Time Electronica." I started off with a click from one of those old metronomes you used to see on top of pianos (get it? "old time"). Then sampled a classic ragtime piano line from Scott Joplin (my association with "old time" is turn of the century stuff like this) that was the foundation of the piece, the drums were vintage casio, there was a nice sample of a Ondes Martenot (the oldest electronic instrument I believe), I even sampled some banjo from the movie Deliverance (again, just an "old timey" reference for me) as well as wrote my own Devo-esque synth line to the whole thing.

My first junto project- disquiet0698. Adding the 2nd part of a trio (right channel), to Alan Blip's- B-Drone starter (left channel) .  
You are hearing some shortwave recording of military weather reports, and what is (allegedly) a Russian diplomatic service transmission (time-stretched), bad violin playing and the sound of wind in the trees of my garden. Kinda concerned I've packed too much in here, but hope there's space for someone to add something more in part 3. It's been fun- thanks Alan Blip & Junto crew for the provocation :)
