We are two musicians from the south of Germany.
Kurt Seßler ist the songwriter and singer. Werner Zeeb - as a multiinstrumentalist - plays all the instruments and is the producer.

We have been working together since 2021 and released our first album "Märchen" (12 songs) in March 2022. 
In 2023 we released two singles:  "Wenn" (March 2023) and "N.N." (October 2023).
On April 5th, 2024 our first single with English lyrics “If No One” was released - a Pop/Rock-ballad.
On June7th, 2024 we released another single in English: "If You Believe Me", a progressive rock track. For the first time, there is also a music video.

Our latest release is the single "Superstar" (November 8th, 2024). An unplugged Contemporary Folk song, played only with acoustic instruments.

Our genre is Rock and Pop with influences from other music styles.

I am a solo recording artist who produces his own original music in Tweed Heads West, NSW, Australia.
 
My songs are released under the band name Retrospection. The joy and satisfaction I get from making music and sharing it, is my reward, although I do like to receive some recognition for my efforts!

Back in December 1963, after graduating from high school in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, I formed the rock band The Avengers in which I played lead guitar and sang backing vocals. We were semi-professional, playing any or all of the nights from Friday through to Sunday.

After two years I had to leave the band to take up a teaching career. Throughout my life I kept up (unpaid) entertainment as extra-curricular activities in the various schools in which I worked.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to give live performances because of health problems.

I am an independent artist crafting alternative rock infused with synths, strings, and guitar solos—all written, produced, mixed, and mastered in my room.

Hello, and welcome.
I’m singing and writing my way through grief — one song at a time.

I record everything myself in GarageBand: lead vocals, layered harmonies, acoustic rhythm guitar, V-Drums, and percussion, bringing in outside stems only when a song calls for extra texture. This is a true DIY process — heartfelt, handmade, and built on a shoestring — but one grounded in constant learning and growth. I’ve been deeply immersed in mixing and mastering so these songs can finally move beyond demo form and fully become what they’re meant to be.

My signature sound is acoustic-driven music anchored by a wide vocal range and rich three- and four-part harmonies. I move between genres depending on the emotional truth of each song, but I always stay honest. I’m a bit of a throwback — a rocker-hippie soul writing from the heart, unfiltered and real.

I spent years performing covers in Las Vegas and the San Francisco Bay Area, drawing from rock, jazz, pop, funk, and beyond. After stepping away from music to focus on family, life eventually brought me to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. Surrounded by forest, ocean, and the distant silhouette of Vancouver Island, I found a quiet peace I hadn’t known before. I bought myself a Johnny Cash Martin guitar and began recording covers that helped me heal.

That process reopened a creative door I thought had closed. Poetry and lived experience turned into songs, and over the next year and a half I wrote more than 30 of them — stories shaped by loss, resilience, and the slow work of moving forward.

When I perform live, I work as a one-woman band using a Roland Cube EX amp, my Johnny Cash Martin guitar, a Shure mic with in-ears, and a MacBook Pro through a Scarlett Solo for backing tracks. Technology makes this journey possible, and I’m deeply grateful for it.

To Erika, Rachel, Brooklynn, Rylie, and Lukas — you are forever in my heart. This music is the legacy of love I carry forward for you. I used to sing silly songs whenever I could. Since losing you in 2019, writing and performing has been how I survive that loss, honor it, and keep love alive. I will never stop hoping to see you again.
