Will You unveils his debut album Part of the Picture — a deeply personal collection of 13 tracks that move between ambient meditations and understated deep house and techno excursions, the record feels designed for long journeys, quiet autumn evenings, and the in-between hours when everything softens.

There’s something hypnotic about the way 'Closed Eyes, Gentle Move' unfolds — like walking into a clearing in the woods and realizing the forest is breathing with you. It stands out as one of the album’s heavier moments, aiming to transport you into that hazy, late-night state where the boundary between you and the music dissolves — when it’s enough to simply close your eyes and move gently.

Our latest podcast comes from Italy's Simone Bauer (@simonebauer), a relatively new face on the scene with a couple of well-developed releases already under his belt via @norite and @annulled_music. Inspired by the communal and contemplative aspects of techno, Simone instills the natural beauty of his home city, Terni, into every aspect of his productions and DJ sets. The mix he has given us is immediately impressive, deliberately mixed and weaving deftly through a series of gorgeous, understated tracks. This is truly a journey of the highest order, and we're excited to share it.

Continuously reflecting and drawing inspiration from its numerous influences and surroundings, Abstract Man is open to and ready for its own continuous evolution.

Formed of two of the three minds behind London-based promoter, On the 5th Day, Abstract Man transfers its artistic intention and love for techno across to parties at the city's best underground music venue, Corsica Studios. Through the parties, alongside a podcast stream and label, On the 5th Day's mission is to build a family of trusting and dedicated music appreciators and to create opportunities for them to connect with the music that they love, bringing up and coming artists to the limelight.

Traversable Message [Columbia]

Traversable Message is the current project of Juan Pulgarín, DJ and producer of Pereira (Colombia) that begins in the world of electronic music in 2007, from that year until today, he has been constantly exploring and developing his sound until he finds his own musical identity. Its sound is greatly influenced by Techno, Ambient, Drone and Experimental music; This makes it a perfect balance between the dance floor and the mind, using simplicity as a tool for immersion in your sessions. Surrounding atmospheres with charles, kicks and deep and rhythmic drum loops, combined with analog synthesizers and drum machines that give a warm and lively sound to the dance floor or alternative spaces. Currently he has had constant presentations at the mythical Garden Underground Club (Pereira – Colombia), participating since 2013 and more frequently from 2016 until the first months of 2020, in which he has had the opportunity to play with artists such as Christian Wunch, Lewis Fautzi, Lucy, Kwartz, Marco Shuttle, Polar Inertia, Mekas, JPJZ, Chilo decks, Brayan Valenzuela, among others.
In 2018 he was invited to play in another mythical club; Utopia but this time in the city of Madrid, together with the respected Irish DJ Sunil Sharpe, plus the local artists of the Synth Techno Club project.

As a producer, he is characterized by making music with many modulations, dense bass lines and enveloping atmospheres that make his music something very special. He is part and actively works on the G89 Records label (currently based in Chile), a label where he has released his own EP as “PULSARES” and “WORMHOLE”, in 2019 he also founded the Virescence Records label focused on ambient, experimental and techno music, in addition to some works for labels such as No Way Records, Northallsen Records, Dystant Recordings Aarden Records and Solemne records.

Artscope Radio #15 : Traversable Message

Latmos delivers four pieces of classy hypnotic techno with a special spacey vibe.

"Plural Lifeforms" puts emphasis on equality and human rights recurring to an evolving groove and a heavy action of bleepy and hypnotic elements.

In "Genom", liquid synths and ethereal elements are interleaved with a ritualistic high-decay kickdrum blended with a reverberated ambiance.

"Sinking" presents a more detailed ambient texture and fast-paced rhythmic patterns. Sharp reverberated hi-hats create expansive and hallucinatory effects in the background. 

"Algorytmi" reworks the vibe of the EP implementing a basic structure that makes the track playable in different contexts.

Overall, a very interesting EP for the lovers of classy techno. Don't miss it!

Our 8th contribution comes by the lovely Sabine Hoffmann.

Sabine was born and raised in Berlin. She grew up listening to a diverse array of hip hop, soul, funk and crossover beats. She discovered her passion for spinning vinyl around the early 2000’s, when she was first exposed to electronic music.
She plays a deep blend of techno, electro, Chicago & Detroit house with nuggets of acid, funk and breakbeats rolled in. But regardless of the style, you will always find Sabine playing vinyl only sets as she prefers the warmth of analog sounds and the classic feel of turntables.
Since 2016 Sabine works at the well known OYE record shop in Berlin. She is also hosting a Frauengedeck livestream, which is streamed from the OYE record shop. She herself is the founder of “Frauengedeck”, an event series focusing on an all female line up.
In September last year we could also welcome Sabine as our guest at one of our events. Not only as an artist but also as a great personality we got to know her.

Modyfier is an Artist’s platform: it’s an idea acting as energy, it’s an experiment in accrual (as a collection), it’s an attitude that rides creativity and freedom. The Process Series relies on referral as people who participate each suggest someone else, creating its form, shifting in directions I would not be able to steer alone. Matthew Barney once said this about his early ‘Drawing Restraint’ work that really struck me: “I was thinking about how the body functions in training – how the muscle breaks down under resistance and then heals larger and stronger. I was trying to use that process of resistance to create form.”
