About this EP :
En síntesis Exotica es un Ep corto de 3 canciones con un común denominador la natuleza y sus sonidos, las grabaciones de ambientes son de sectores cercanos a mi hogar lugares mágicos rodeados de montañas y ríos donde muchas veces escapo a llenarme de energía, la naturaleza y sus sonidos son para mi fuente de inspiración, los shakers los grabé con semillas de árboles, son temas instrumentales con pasajes melódicos nostálgicos pero a su vez con una energía llena de carácter básicamente Exotica nos dará eso al escucharlo. Es un Ep que no contiene samples pre diseñados todo ha sido compuesto interpretado por mi con VST de diversos instrumentos (piano, flauta bambo, duduk, bandura, guitarra acústica ) al igual que el diseño rítmico de las percusiones. Solamente los vocales los cuales cuentan con licencia original para su uso. Y fue mezclado y masterizado por mi en mi estudio casero. Eso si con todas las herramientas tecnológicas para dar la mejor calidad en el diseño de audio.

Monkyman and Love Foundation is a love story that already started a year ago. Due to the pandemic we did not manage to bring it together on the dancefloor so far, but it is only a matter of time till that happens.

In order to deepen the relationship between us anyways, we created a beautiful EP around this track, with remixes by the Oddness, Lente and Ouhana. We as Cows are truly excited to open a new chapter of our agricultural sound exploration. Reworking the music of Hang Massive lead us to a sublime Remix EP: from the beach to the jungle and back. 

@hangmassive – the world music and ambient duo consisting of Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat, met in India in 2010. They developed their unique sound and style over the years and since recently they explore a deep fusion with electronic production. 

We were lucky enough to meet Danny and Markus in Goa around 2015. Fast forward 5 years and we finally got our paws on some of their music. Our mission to transport the playful sounds of the Hang into the Cow galaxy is groovy and now accomplished!

Italian producer m@kossa announces the release of his album „20/20“ on Hupupa. We talked with him about longplayer and his current situation.

trndmsk: How long did it take you to produce the album?

m@kossa: It took me the whole year, I started work from the beginning of 2020 when I was touring in USA/MEX and I just finished the mixing and masters a few days ago in December. 

How did you choose the title of the LP? Is there a special meaning behind it?

Actually in the beginning was another one I usually try to represent what I feel inside, my sensations with the title but this year was too overwhelming, it was too much, I called 20/20. Inevitable! (...)

The virtuoso trumpet, the fragrances of the dub and Johann's Balkan twist together with the addictive, tribal & ceremonial rhythm of Nadav, gave birth to 'The landing'. In different times this creation would be played on every downtempo gathering on the globe. This splendid collab contains a deep and profound beat, mind-blowing melodies, and lots of joy. This sound got picked up by the dutch vagabond @krautmusica and the south africa based producer @leeu88 put in two various thrilling and powerful remixes.
