i played this set spontaneously at an Open Air at September 9, 2023. After starting with some groovy Dark Minimal the crowd seemed to crave for some harder and faster sound so i pitched the tempo up to 136 BPM and gave them what they wanted. 🤙
Wish you as much fun listening as i had playing. Be prepared for two hours of sweet and dark Villain Techno!

The DJ- and Producer-Duo from Essen, Germany delivers a dark and driving Minimal Techno sound. Their sound is characterized by creepy, weird and psychedelic sounds, combined with short, punchy drums and straight, rolling basslines. 
In 2014 M&M started to live out their passion for DJing together, after they discovered their love for techno by partying and got to mixing music through friends.
The two decided to be a duo because they were not only good buddies, but also their taste of music and their idea of what techno should sound like fitted perfectly together. Playing music together felt right and since then M&M can always be found behind the decks as a team.
Their musical journey leaded them to different locations in the Ruhr-Area like the Frohnatur, the Gracejones Club in Essen, Druckluft in Oberhausen, Rotunde in Bochum and the AZ in Mülheim - just to name a few.
In 2015 the two made their first steps in producing their own sound and work passionately on creating new music since then. In 2019, their first track was released on the Essener label Subios Records. This way the foundations for more releases have been laid and it will be interesting to see, what kind of stuff the two friends will drop in future.
In 2014 M&M founded the Kollektiv Stumpf together with a bunch of friends. Since then the crew from Essen is regularly organizing different underground-parties in the Ruhr Area.

MOE RiARTY is a Techno-DJ and -producer from Essen, Germany.

His musical journey started back in 2014 by founding the DJ- and Producer-duo Moe & Melmixx with a good friend. After some time of playing at various venues in the Rhein-Ruhr-Area they started producing their own tracks which eventually led to their first official release in 2019, followed by more releases on varying labels like Subios Records, Music4Aliens, AMPED, Creepy Finger, POINTZERO and Infekted Records.

Now making music under his solo alias, MOE is taking the audience on a trip into his vision of Techno music - a forward-driving, minimalistic sound, characterized by its dark and psychedelic vibe, always garnished with an extra grain of weirdness.
