The first podcast of 2022 couldn’t start with more positive vibes. The West Coast iconic hot groove echoes in this mix made by the Irish-Iranian San Francisco-based Dj Sinèad (Orchid AM). A fresh touch and a good dose of adrenaline which helps us to forget bad times and takes us on a sunny beach so the only thing left for us to do is to turn up the volume and dance.

Been a while since I've posted a mix, so wanted to share one from a really special Sunday earlier this month. Still trying to process how incredible that day into night was: The friends, the crowd, the vibe, the superhero team I was lucky enough to share the booth with...Happy happy days :)

I couldnt get a recorder in time but everything felt so so right & was super happy with how the set was, so dug back into my history folder & decided to record it for posterity. Zoomed around sonically covering gospel, house, disco, electro, jazz & more. I think its a good snapshot of what's moving me these days. Hope you enjoy it as much I did, I think it will kick start your weekend rather nicely x

As a party lover, dancer, dj, co-host of 'Endless Groove' (a non-profit Loft inspired community driven party) & initiator of 'Black Is...' (gender-inclusive platform supporting BIPOC voices); I'm forever inspired & in love with the communal joy manifested on dancefloors.

A globetrotter at heart (originally from Sudan, raised in the UAE & having lived in New Orleans, Kuala Lumpur, Stockholm & Berlin), I've travelled the world pursuing the magical feeling only dancefloors can exude; a search that proved to me that regardless of where you are: genres don't matter. What matters is the feeling the music gives, the energy/soul you put into it & the space as a participant in the collective experience; be it as a dancer, dj or organiser. This heavily informs my taste and selections that I explore through my sets, my co-curation of 'Endless Groove', the direction of 'Black Is...' as well as my VIBRATIO)))NS mix series.
