Jazz-o-Tech presents another forward looking techno-jazz project straight from Berlin's fertile scene. It's an intriguing collaboration between German producers Morgen Wurde and Tis. For 2 tracks Japanese avantgarde trumpet player Tetsuroh Konishi joins the duo. This EP has an intensely evocative almost spiritual soul, thanks to Konishi's inspired trumpet playing which cuts across the deep and dark grooves set by Wurde and Tis, giving the tracks a real sense of trascendence.

Morgen Wurde devotes himself to setting the unfathomable wonder of the Dasein to emotive music, creating the „Morgen Wurde" form of haunting lyric soundscapes: the majestic and threatening ambivalence of the forces of nature, set to dark romantic fusions of ambient and neo-classical music. Since 2015, six Morgen Wurde album CDs appeared on Off Rec. (Brussels), Time Released Sound (Alameda) and Frozen Light (Moscow), plus EPs, remixes, and contributions to recent episodes of the iconic annual Pop Ambient compilation series on Kompakt Records, curated by Wolfgang „Gas"Voigt.
Intense psychedelic soundscapes also characterize the sound of Tis. Rooted in the minimal techno genre, he doesn't dwell on standard synthesizer sounds but sets him- self apart from the crowd, drawing upon a rich spectrum of electroacoustic sounds, driven by irresistible grooves. The work of the Hamburg-based artist has taken on epic proportions under various project names on his own labels, formerly Verform Records and now Roo Records.

Autopilot has always been a proven tool at a time when you have other personal things to do, for example, prepare a speech for the upcoming intergalactic congress. The scientific philosophy of life is impatient with flaws but is attractive when it comes to its insatiable thirst for knowledge. That is why this confusing adventure and its troubles have given so many new emotions that marked the next strategic cycle. A special request came from the Data Center, interrupting the tired contemplation:

— Don't get too excited! I see you're ready to hit the dashboard.
— There is no privacy here… Ok, I think we've discovered something interesting. I feel there will be a reason for some real relaxation soon!

Finally, the time has come.

After a small discovery phase this year, we can finally announce that the first sounds of PAULUM. will be audible very soon. 

Besides activities as an event organizer, we can finally announce the first record release.

The starting date is the 16th of December, 2022. 

You can expect an EP from CVO, founder and puppet master of PAULUM. 
The 4 track single, called "Secret Garden", is a nice mix between bouncy minimal house and groovy breakbeats. 
2 originals are on the menu with 2 superb remixes.

Friz07, a long time friend and labelmate of CVO (love goes out to Bladehouse), has turned the breaky track into a wonderfully twisted world of minimal house. The trippy sounds of his take on „Dont Stop“ invite you to dream but are driven by a distinct, perfectly positioned bassline. A wonderful tool to send the crowd on another journey in the morning hours.

The EP is rounded off by a super crisp and pushy remix by none other than Nick Beringer. He has processed the elements of the title track "Secret Garden" very subtly and created a powerful peaktime version. We are joyful to have this gifted music producer and founder of "Rubisco" on board and thus laying the foundation for PAULUM.

And last but not least, big thanks to Tripmastaz for the beautiful mastering!
