The influential Ukrainian duo ARTBAT has been enlisted to bring their unique melodic sounds to a new remix of Röyksopp's 2005 smash ‘What Else Is There?’ The iconic original has been streamed 10s of millions of times and ARTBAT are contemporary electronic tastemakers with a global fanbase, so this is a perfect pairing of two musical giants.

Despite only starting to work together in 2015, ARTBAT has played to tens of thousands of people at festivals all over the world, had their faces on giant billboards, and been Beatport’s biggest selling artists for the last two years. The prolific pair have a put out a steady stream of high quality, always innovative sounds including hit remixes of Monolinks’s Return To Oz and Sono’s Keep Control, which both charted for more than 12 months at a time. As well as collaborations with Sailor & I, CamelPhat, Dino Lenny, WhoMadeWho, Matador and Rafael Cerato, the pair's solo work is always both accessible and melodic yet forward-facing and innovative.

Retaining the iconic vocals of Fever Ray and The Knife frontwoman Karin Dreijer, ARTBAT’s fantastic new remix of 'What Else Is There?' transforms the classic Nordic chug of Röyksopp’s original into the type of high drama big room house music they’re renowned for.

Pete Tong has confirmed a BBC Radio 1 play on the day of release and this essential new track will feature on a new playlist curated by the band highlighting their biggest remixes.

This is another huge release for ARTBAT, who continue to redefine their own unique sound with each fantastic new outing.

A true driving force of the Stil vor Talent fold since the landing of his debut EP "Nandoo" in 2018, Sam Shure has cemented his position as one of today's finest names when it comes to shape shifting , polyamorous soundscapes. Using his background in traditional music to take club music into unheard directions, Sam keeps carving out a lane of his own, and his newest four-track delivery for Stil vor Talent - "Malfunction" - proves a new tour de force in his quest for time and space-transcending material.

Merging middle-eastern melodic tropes with the most cutting-edge arsenal of circuit-driven chatter, the title-track pulls out an infectious metronomic swagger adorned with EBM-friendly cascades of shimmering bleeps and raging drums that keep on swelling as bars fly by. Doped on fly, chiselled breaks and a fractalised sound design rife with fractured vocal samples, "Permutation" flings us in a furnace of flash-flowing, mangled synth ellipses and bone-bruising bass moves that'll have you hard-pressed to find your way back to the surface. 

Not one to crank it down one inch for real, "Attenuator" does the very opposite of its name, except perhaps for its more understated, deep-end-friendly approach. Going the dubbier way, this one finds Shure boasting the width of his skills and ever-sharp knack for cutting riveting slabs of pared-down psychedelia. Topping it off, "Sopra il Mondo (featuring Francesca Siano)" is a straightforward roller tinged with Shure's broad palette of jazzy inflections, Latin neo-classicism and oriental harmonics. A correspondingly ambitious and inspired closer to a new master stroke from an artist in full possession of his art.

Mind Against finally join the revered ‘fabric presents’ mix series, compilation out Friday 23rd September ahead of their extended set in the much-loved venue. On Saturday 24th September. 

The mix closes with their own ’Freedom’ with Dyzen. The track opens and continues a dialogue between the dreamy languor of emotion-rich synth chords evoking early noughties euphoria, and dog-whistle-pitched melodic phrases leaping and playing, over a strong but subtle multi-layered percussion, all pinned by a beat of silence in the midst. A soundtrack for blissed-out summer nights.

Impressum reminds us again why quality not quantity is what’s important in life, as they present us Netherlands based Collé and his awe-inspiring EP ‘Don’t Push’.

Bursting onto the scene in 2018 with the anthem Owami, he now regularly resides on labels like Anjunadeep, Stil vor Talent and TrueColors where his music carries the support of heavyweight like Solomun, Ame, Black Coffee and Bedouin. Almost constantly on tour we’re pleased he found the time to create this for us and you.

Starting off with the title track ‘Don’t Push’. This is a beautiful yet haunting piece of music that takes the listener on a journey through the darkness in search of the light we can sense is flickering at the end of the tunnel. An ever-evolving track with a solid driving beat, haunting stab lines and pad movements and effects coming straight from that basement you were so scared of as a kid. A powerful track, full of emotions and hands in the air moments!

On the flip side he gives us ‘System Error’, a track that takes up where the A side left off. As we go deeper and deeper into the pitch-black abyss, Collé yet again brings the listener on a journey towards the light, navigating through massive breakdowns, evolving mysterious choirs, sharply sliced filters and epic crescendos.

That feeling when you know something is about to end so you enjoy the most out of it? That’s what French DJ and producer Notre Dame delivers with YUMI. 
It’s that last track that’s playing when you look into your best friends eyes and think about the night you’ve just had together. It was heavily supported by Solomun throughout the summer.
Next to the title track we have „Story of My Life“ - dramatic, almost fragile, with a relentless kick at its center that’s encircled by a gentle arp.
And closing off the YUMI EP is „Atom“. Its suspense is building like a Kamikaze fighter approaching their target: slowly at first, but without mercy.
