After a hot streak of festival spins this summer, one of the biggest anthems residing in the record box of one of Holland’s bonafide superstars, Hardwell, gets its official worldwide release as part of the  Toolroom Records Anniversary Remixes series.

Masterfully rewoven and reedited by man of the moment Hardwell, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s anthemic ‘Man With The Red Face’ has been reinterpreted into a fizzing big room, high energy mix crafted to fill the largest and loudest festival arenas. 

A monumental track in the history of Toolroom Records, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s cover of Laurent Garnier’s ‘Man With The Red Face’ cemented the label’s position in the dance music scene, winning ‘Best Ibiza Track 2008’ at Pacha’s Ibiza DJ Awards and Beatport’s ‘Best Tech House Track of 2008’.

Since his first EP with Toolroom back in 2010, the synergy between Hardwell and the label has grown into a fruitful pairing that has laid witnessed to the chart topping single ‘Three triangles (Losing My Religion)’ and various appearance for the Toolroom parties that have spread around the world including a guest slot at the their former residency at Space in Ibiza.

With strong support by Radio 1 in Ibiza and having just scored #1 in the Buzz Chart, this Hardwell remix of ‘Man With The Red Face’ is set to soar to the top demonstrating the timeless qualities of this scene classic.

Make Your Way

Off the back of the infectious original by London-based twosome Don Diablo and Matt Nash comes the official remix for summer smash ‘Starlight (Could You Be Mine)’ by Swedish dynamo Otto Knows.

Flicking the switch from energy-infused electro, Otto gives ‘Starlight’ a rapturous facelift that is both defiantly uplifting and joyous in its nature. The remix strips the original of its electro muscles replacing those with emphatic bassline swoops and a pumping four-to-the-floor drum stomp.

First nurtured under Swedish House Mafia delegate, Sebastian Ingrosso, Otto flash-banged many with his brilliant debut ‘Million Voices’, which toppled the Shazam chart and went straight on to the BBC Radio 1 playlist. In doing so, he grabbed the thoughts of a surge of new fans while sitting comfortably within the top 15 tracks in the UK singles chart, before eventually going gold in Australia, Belgium, Holland and his native Sweden. Meanwhile, Otto himself was named as a ‘Young Star’ by international tastemaker and Radio 1 DJ, Pete Tong.

With quality rather than quantity at the heart of his work ethic, late last year saw widely praised remixes of Dada Life (“Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker”) and Burns (“Lies) hit the airwaves. The busy festival period took him on jaunts right across Europe including slots at Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Electric Zoo and Ushuaia in Ibiza.

This remix is set to push Otto Knows even further into the consciousness of mainstream listeners while interest is still hot and at a time when electronic music is at its most potent.

Revolution is Diplo's follow up to the meme-defining Express Yourself EP. Teaming up with an all new cast of friends including Mike Posner, RiFF RAFF, Travis Porter, Action Bronson and many more , Diplo has produced one of the most cutting edge dance EP's in recent memory. "Biggie Bounce" continues where "Express Yourself" left off, creating a new NOLA bounce anthem with Travis Porter, restating Diplo's claim to the king of twerk. Diplo aims for the clouds with "Revolution," allowing Kai's vocal delivery to soar above the stadium trap instrumental. "Crown" lets loose one of the hardest drops of Diplo's career only to have him pull it back in with Mike Posner's light hearted vocals. We called it Bubbling and it was very famous in those dark underground sleazy clubs. I felt inspired to give it a new twist...You might not understand this but it is part of my musical background!
