When asked about his Firestarter EP, Cologne producer Ramirez Son revealed that both tracks include not only a vocal sampled from a horror flick, but are also inspired by their soundtracks. The title track “Firestarter" is a deep house hommage to the 80s synth opus by Tangerine Dream, soundtrack of the 1984 horror movie classic Firestarter.
