 Comunicação não deveria ser algo complicado. Um traço e um ponto: fundamentos do código Morse, a base do braile. Com esses dois símbolos, incontáveis estórias têm sido contadas e tamanha simplicidade está no núcleo da arte de Dashdot. Enquanto esses músicos empregam habilidades técnicas e ouvidos experientes, eles acreditam que dançar é algo natural e universal como um círculo e uma linha. Sobre esses alicerces, o duo vem assombrando charts internacionais com sua música única, melódica e acima de tudo eminentemente dançante.
 André Guarda e Felipe Flora não se conheceram nas aulas de piano quando eram crianças. Ambos nascidos no interior, foram iniciados no mercado da música através da gravadora Movida Records, quando ainda estavam no ensino médio. Permaneceram desconhecidos um para outro até a mudança para São Paulo, onde foram conectados por uma paixão mútua pela música, e um toque do destino. Dashdot foi lançado em fevereiro de 2012 no D-Edge, um dos melhores e mais renomados clubes do Brasil.
 Desde cedo chamando atenção dos holofotes internacionais, sua música rapidamente ganhou suporte de pesos pesados como Hot Since 82, Thyladomid, Andre Crom, Betoko, Matt Fear, S.K.A.M. entre outros. Seu hit “Stepping Into My Mind” permaneceu nos charts do Beatport durante várias semanas, seguida de sua igualmente impressionante “Paradise” que saiu pela Cream Couture Records. Pensando a frente, lançaram seu próprio selo PopArt – outro título que reflete sua visão de música acessível porém elegante. Primeiramente direcionada a artistas nacionais como Thomaz Krauze e Gabe, Dashdot desde então direcionou sua gravadora a uma entidade global, recrutando novos artistas através dos continentes.
 Artistas, produtores e donos de selo, os membros do Dashdot se tornaram candidatos primordiais a gigs ao redor do mundo. Depois de ter tocado em alguns dos melhores clubes brasileiros, seus passaportes estão sendo preenchidos rapidamente com carimbos nas Américas e Europa, incluindo a grandiosa Magna Carta em Londres ao lado de nomes como Droog, Clive Henry e Franck Roger. Como verdadeiros músicos, a jovem dupla emprega um poderoso set up ao seu live, com Felipe criando as percussões enquanto André constrói as melodias. Seus shows nunca se repetem.
 Expandindo seus horizontes dia após dia, a estrela do duo está ascendendo firmemente, com lançamentos vindouros em gravadoras como Chill Mint Music, Off Recordings e Frequenza Limited. Conforme ganham exposição, também ganha o Brasil. O sucesso desses garotos talentosos reflete neles próprios e em sua terra natal, trazendo ainda mais atenção à efervescente cena brasileira. Só podemos imaginar o que o futuro reserva, uma vez que André e Felipe – ou simplesmente Dashdot – continuam a cimentar seu lugar entre os mais prolíficos nomes no mundo da dance music.

The third episode of the microcastle podcast welcomes label artist Khen. The Israeli producer is coming off the release of his first original project for us entitled 'Pollen Spreader'. Released earlier this month, the four track EP featured a Luca Bacchetti remix and was a huge success; reaching #10 in the Beatport overall Top 100,  #2 in both Electronica and Progressive House, and #4 in Techno. For the third edition of our podcast we've chosen a live set of Khen's recorded from his first gig at Bahrein, Buenos Aires in October of this year. It was a momentous occasion for the young Israeli artist and one which left lasting memories for his Argentinean fans. Over four magical hours he worked through an effortless flow of rugged beats, deep grooves and poignant melodies. His much loved 'Secret Shining' and 'Sunflakes', along with several unreleased gems touched the hearts and minds of all who attended that night.  Khen's approach to DJing in a way mirrors his most loved production hallmarks, where there's a compelling story unfolding at each and every moment, ultimately building to something truly special. It's certainly not a common trait amongst today's DJs and just one of many things which sets him apart from the pack. It makes each and every set a special experience just like this one here.
