Tritonia 084

Dr. Fresch, aka Tony Fresch, is a DJ/producer/label owner from Los Angeles. His novel take on house music crossed with bassline, Hip Hop, and forward-leaning beats has earned him global recognition in the past year, backed up by his impressive play count in his slew of accessible remixes on Soundcloud. He's also a founding member of Echelon -- the URL sister collective to Hegemon focused on the housier sounds of dance music.

In his Guest Mix for NHQ, he's put his selection skills on display, including a number of his own edits and remixes along with some hip hop crossover goodies that round out a killer house party vibe.

For the first time in four years, Markus participated in an extensive club tour of India; a country which holds sentimental bonds. 

The opening night of the tour was recorded for Global DJ Broadcast, live from the newly opened Kitty Su nightclub in Mumbai. The set features May's entry for Markus' 2015 City Series concept, dedicated to Mumbai, and named after its predecessive title, Bombay.

After a brief hiatus, Vivrant Radio makes a large return with the live recording of Jeremy Olander’s magical set from the Vivrant showcase in Stockholm, Sweden a few weeks back. 

Taking place in front of a crowd of over 1200 in a sold out warehouse space outside of Stockholm, the event celebrated the fourth release, ‘Taiga’ EP  - Reimagined, on Jeremy’s celebrated Vivrant label. In addition to Jeremy, the night also featured sets from Henry Saiz, Finnebassen, and Charlie Don’t Surf, who also have contributed with stupendous remixes for the EP.

Having racked up over 45 million plays on Soundcloud, more than six No. 1 positions on Hype Machine and over 2.1 million streams on his debut original ‘Found Your Love’ with support from artists such as Kygo, Hayden James, Tensnake, Blonde and more, Oliver Nelson deliver’s his second original release on Perfect Havoc titled ‘Changes’ featuring vocals from fellow Perfect Havoc and Fast Car singer ‘River’ from South London.

Over the summer of 2015, Oliver hit the U.S. for a debut tour, playing sell out shows including a headline set in New York at the Full Moon Party (Brooklyn Mirage) alongside Tensnake; at San Fran’s summertime Radness Pool Party, and Sound Nightclub in Hollywood. Festival appearances followed at TomorrowWorld in Georgia and FNGRS CRSSD in San Francisco, plus supports slots for the likes of Kygo, Thomas Jack and Hayden James through his 3-month US Tour.

 ‘Changes’, demonstrates a completely different diversifying production from Oliver, moving away from his well-known usually bright summered nu-disco style, instead, Oliver shows a dark, edgy and what he calls “Deep-Disco” vibe, with a heavier and moody slow tempo feel.
