San Francisco's PillowTalk are the trio that make indie/dance and nu disco house in the most beautiful way. They are as at home crafting 80s­ inspired synth­pop, as they are creating psychedelic funk and the classic rock and roll rhythms. A career spent DJing across the globe was the catalyst for Damian Lazarus’s latest project – Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons. Masterminded by Lazarus the album brings together a wide assortment of vocalists, collaborators and players from around the world. Taking inspiration from Lazarus's Lazpod series, Get Lost events and Day Zero festival in Mexico, this is music for deserts, jungles and sunrises.

Kicking off in LA, Lazarus was joined at the production controls by James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Arctic Monkeys, Florence) as the album moved to London, and then final recording sessions completed in Mexico.

The resulting album, ‘Message From the Other Side’, is a revelation. It runs the gamut from the wonderful Qawwali-flavoured techno of the single ‘Lovers Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya)’ to the African-tinged house of ‘Sacred Dance of the Demon’ to the dense dark ambient of ‘Inner Core’, and a whole lot else. It’s a truly original piece of music from a DJ-producer always driven by a desire to break new ground and, as importantly, have fun with such adventures

The twenty second release on Cadenza Lab comes from Dubfound, a producer from Moldova who has been quietly yet determinedly honing his sound for a couple of years now.  Via labels like 8Bit, Memoria, Intacto and his own Nurum imprint, Dubfound has been exploring the deeper shades of tech-house, his music always comes with plenty of essential space and ambience, and his Cadenza Lab debut is no exception. 

On ‘Acan’, muted, freestyle brass hangs menacingly over a soft, bouncing groove, shakers and woody drum fills keep it lively, building upon a tribal atmosphere over its eleven minutes.  

‘Windy’ is an apt title for a track such as this; distant drums, haunting strings and groaning brass hang in the air whilst little melodies play out of the various instrumentation and otherworldly dialogue floats over this very ingenious and well produced track.

A superb offering from Dubfound here, and a producer that sits very well on the Cadenza Lab roster.

We are proud to present you already our 16th release. This release is for us something special. For the first time we have a release that does not include any original tracks. But for this release we got 2 amazing remixes by Edu Imbernon and Agents Of Time of 2 original tracks from WhoMadeWho.

WhoMadeWho is known for its outstanding performances as a band. This sucessful acts is touring the world and tracks are getting remixed by some of the top producers in the world like Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Mario Basanov and Mind Against. 
Knowing that all these remixes got released on top labels like Life And Death, Minus and Kompakt, we are very proud that Click Records can now be added to this impressive list of remixers and labels that WhoMadeWho worked with and released their music on.

Edu Imbernon needs no introduction. This dj/producers tours all around the world, plays all the big clubs and festivals and is also running his own new Fayer record label. Edu Imbernon is also no stranger for the Click audience as he is one of our regular artists on our events. We are very happy to have him finally onboard with delivering this driving melodic remix!

Agents Of Time are fast rising and already on top of the league in their genre. With releasing their "Polina" track, which got huge support from Tale Of Us, they delivered a instant techno classic tune. Playing all over the globe, with a show last week at our own event in Amsterdam, they set every dance floor on fire with their unique performance and live sets.

Grammy winner Karin Park’s latest release sees her collaborating with ‘Pandora Drive’, an outfit comprised of renowned photographer and filmmaker Thomas Knights (who achieved recent stratospheric success as the creator of the ‘Red Hot’ project appearing on The One Show and global news channels) and DJ and producer Nick Sheldon Hurricane’ , includes remixes from heavyweights Booka Shade, Maya Jane Coles and Barber.

Park is an artist and singer famed for her innate ability to captivate crowds with her live sets and leave dance floors across the globe yearning for more. This new offering is plucked from her forthcoming album ‘Apocalypse Pop’, due for release on 2nd March 2015, which will mark another chapter in her career of sonic experimentalism.

Park says, "I’ve been following Pandora Drive at very close range pretty much since it was born and I’m very excited to see it grow. Thomas is such a talented musician, photographer and director and when he teamed up with Nick Sheldon I was expecting nothing less than gold. Looks like I was right.”

Initially, the video illustrates a love story; however, ‘Hurricane’, featuring vocals from both Karin and Thomas and directed by Knights himself, is a mesmerizing depiction of a 21st century life and each individual’s constant desire for more, an underlying sense of longing throughout the hypnotic synths and evocative melody. ‘Hurricane is about never feeling satisfied,’ Knights says. ‘It’s about not getting swept up – you have to keep on going.’   
The meeting of dark decadent subject matter with electronica, hypnotic top lines from both and Knights’ skill with visuals makes for an exhilarating and dangerously alluring combination; listeners are tempted to take a bite out of the apple and enter the ‘fucked up alternative world’ they’ve created.

The release comes complete with remixes from Maya Jane Coles, Booka Shade and newcomer Barber. Maya Jane Coles provides a tantalizing interpretation, adding an extra thread of intrigue that is unmistakably hers to the track’s multi-woven fabric. German producers Booka Shade break the track down only to reconstruct it with an agility that can only be achieved after years of pioneering productions. Newcomer Barber delivers a toughened up re-work worthy of a place in the darkest clubs on the most crowded dance floors.

Influential house label Holic Trax is launching a new sub series here with a debut EP from Ivan Iacobucci entitled Monoklo 1.
The sub label, also call Monoklo, will showcase a deeper, darker house sound that focusses on the dance floor and sees all material selected by the boss, Tomoki Tamura.
Behind this first EP is Italian Ivan Iacobucci, who has been producing since the ‘90s on Nite
Grooves, King Street, Smoke Joke and many others. Influenced by everything from jazz to Detroit techno, afro cuban beats to pure funk, he has a truly fresh approach to sound.
Up first, ‘Router’ is a deep, bubbly house track with corrugated drums and dusty hi hats.
Spooky synths add a sense of space and depth and it’s an intimate way to kick off the EP.
‘Anorak’ is another deep cut with warm and cuddly vibes pervading to bubbly, soft edge drums and captivating rhythms. Filled with organic textures and rich with a human feel, the cut sucks you right in from the off.
Vinyl only cut, ‘De Mai Sus’ then rocks back and forth with deep, bubbly basslines, streaming sci-fi melodies and kinetic percussive patterns that are subtle but that really bring the funk. 
All analogue sounding and dynamic from the ground up, it’s a spaced out and emotive house cut that will make you feel as well as dance.
Buy the EP digitally and you will get bonus roller ‘Stakhanovite’, but either way this is an essential and classy way to start a new series.
