Maurice Salomon Gleiser, a young and almost brilliant programmer, lived in Arizona by the time he realized where he was. He grew up being the first generation of digital nomads, being born in 1996, where technology and virtual reality were starting to dominate human lives.

The line between the physical world and cyberspace blurred the longer he traversed the eras of his consciousness, as Maurice had created the digital version of himself.
