CRAVE:CAST 15 - Carotin (GlitzerGlanz)

Für Carotin ist es wichtig, dass ein Dialog zwischen Publikum und DJ entsteht. Sie steht hinter den Controllern, aber ist gleichzeitig auch mitten in der Menge. Von Melodic House über Dark Techno bis hin zu Trance. Carotin hat sich in schon vielen Musikstilen beheimatet gefühlt. Jetzt liebt sie vor allem schnelle trancige Beats, dabei heizt sie die Menge sowohl auf musikalische Art und Weise als auch mit ihrer sichtbaren Leidenschaft für die Musik so richtig an. 
Vor 1 ½ Jahren gründete sie mit Freund*innen das Kollektiv GlitzerGlanz. GG ist eine Gemeinschaft von Freund*innen, die sich untereinander unterstützen und aufeinander achten. Das ist auch in ihren Veranstaltungen spürbar. GG hat das oberste Ziel einen safer space zu kreieren, wo sich Personen frei fühlen, das zu sein, was sie wollen. Wir folgen nicht der Norm, sondern wir gestalten einen Raum, wo die Liebe zur elektronischen Musik entdeckt und ausgelebt werden kann. GG fördert dabei jede Form von Kreativität und Selbstausdruck.

For Carotin, it's essential that a dialogue emerges between the audience and the DJ. She stands behind the controllers but at the same moment finds herself right in the midst of the crowd. From Melodic House to Dark Techno and all the way to Trance, Carotin has felt at home in many music styles. Nowadays, she particularly loves fast, trancy beats, using her visible passion for music to truly energize the crowd both musically and emotionally.
About 1 ½ years ago, she co-founded the collective GlitzerGlanz with her friends. GG is a community of friends who support and look out for each other. This ethos is also palpable in their events. GG's primary goal is to create a safer space where people feel free to be who they want to be. They do not conform to norms; instead, they shape a space where the love for electronic music can be discovered and embraced. GG promotes all forms of creativity and self-expression.
