Today we are glad to welcome Yuto Takei, music composer / DJ, based in Tokyo & often Amsterdam. Originally he is producing music for Video Games & Car Promotions(Gran Turismo series, Lexus) in Tokyo, Japan. Now he is doing his own music expressions in Europe as well, has been gigs in the
Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Finland, Serbia & Macedonia. In the meantime, he is doing field recordings in cities,
mountains, caves, etc. around this world, and utilizes the organic / human elements in his production. DJ style is about from Ambient to Electronic to Leftfield to Video Game Music, He treats them in parallel & make groovy soundscapes through various frequencies.

Ocotillo

This week we welcome the founder of Submersive Records, Bevel.
He has been active on the Deep-Techno scene since 2013 through his label, productions and dj sets.
Inspired by the hypnotic beauty of the underwater depths, his music evokes dark, captivating landscapes where organic sonorities, raw textures and rave-cut rhythms invite us to tip over into a timeless space.
 Like a gradual plunge into the abyss, his productions and sets invite us to let go, to slowly pull away from the surface and sink into a space where silence amplifies sounds, gestures slow down and bodies soften.
The dancefloor then becomes an immersive place of physical experience of sound, where moments of tension and fragility follow one another in the service of emotions conducive to introspection.
It's a vision of Techno that he's been defending for over 10 years through his label's various releases and podcasts, and his appearances and residencies at the Batofar, Social Club, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, DV1, Glazart, HÖR, etc.

In steps, Tracey. Despite sporting one of the finest barnets in the game, Amsterdamian, Tom Ruijg has been turbulently bubbling under the surface of late, offering up some of the past two years most mind bending yet esteemed records, namely on AUS and Dial. His distinctive production style is clearly reflected in his vast palette of influences;, from the far-sighted futurism of Detroit and the deep space pulse of electro, to the experimentalism and the alien world of British and European IDM.

Traceys mix for us really expresses that broad and expansive palette of his. The first few strides really echoing that experimentalist shade of his repertoire, while steadily gathering momentum and morphing into more recognisable, dance-floor driven tones, then diving back into zen soundtrack. A true collectors item and one we shall be returning to for years to come.
