For our 15th release on Filth on Acid, we welcome Dutchman Roel Salemink with his Prohpet EP. Being a techno producer to be reckoned with for several years, after releases on Intec Digital and Bush Records and with his releases frequently supported by living legend Carl Cox, Roel delivers a powerfull 3 track techno EP to Filth on Acid. On remix duties, it's with great pleasure to present a remix by one of the pioneers of the (Dutch) techno scene, Secret Cinema. Enjoy the Filth.. On Acid!

Roel Salemink - Prophet (Secret Cinema Remix)

Following up an array of functional club tools, 'made of CONCRETE' invite Linearis to offer up a pack of versatile and idiosyncratic tracks, while dub techno producer El Choop returns on remix duties.

Exploring the outer fringes of the 4/4 realm, 'Differences' delves into unexpected sound territories without losing touch with ground zero. Sub-heavy drums mix with cinematic pads and raw breaks on 'LDB', the genre-bending opener, while 'Trim FX' takes it back to the dancefloor with a highly energetic yet fluid, progressive cut. 'Slow Fade' explores a more melancholic side of techno, with its stripped back atmosphere and echoing dubs. El Choop gives the track a distinguishing treatment, amping up the atmospherics into a resonant, raw number.

After contributing with a remix in 2018, made of concrete invite Johannes Volk for a full-length artist release. A scene veteran, Volk is known for his releases on Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, Patrice Scott’s Sistrum or Steffi’s Dolly imprint or for his live appearances in staple clubs Berghain, Tresor, Panorama Bar, Golden Pudel, or Corsica Studios to name a few.

Opener 'Soldered Minds' introduces a dense, energy-filled dynamic that’s both impactful and intriguing. Label chiefs Rebar give the track a 'Hum' remix treatment, adding layers of sizzle and flow that transform it into an afterhours-ready alternative. Undulating basslines stand at 'Magma In Slo- mo’s base, a track that offers a solid anchor and great tool for the dancefloor. The haunting, glitch-laden 'Asphalt Flowers' brings unpredictability with its jittery, uneasy atmosphere that, if played at the right time, is the perfect trigger for a descent into dance delirium.

Edib D was born in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. From his youngest days music becomes a sort of obsession and in the late 90s he had first contacts with electronic music popular back then. Soon, house and techno become the main choices of the music he is listening to and he started exploring the scene actively, showing up on gigs of well-known DJs in the country and the region.
