Verticepsy - The Ritual

"Brains and Physics" is the second EP by German producer Psychic Reptiles, inspired by humanity's deep fascination with nature and the cosmos. 

Rooted in our observation of the world around us, every innovation— from early civilization to modern technology — has emerged from our attempts to understand and decode the universe. Through mathematics, language, and other symbols, we've tried to capture the essence of natural laws, allowing human consciousness to evolve and reach new depths of understanding our world. 

This three-track EP invites you to experience an interpretation of our journey as humans and reflect on how we are constantly connected to our surroundings.

This is a home remake of my NYE 17/18 forest set at the Boogie Fest event in London. Set played at 150bpm to soften the morning, right after the hitech ;) Perhaps quite minimalistic and with an in crescendo atmospheric layering.
Mixed on 2x CDJ850 and DJM350 on the first try to keep the magic ;)

He combines deep Forest atmospheres and groovy elements in a very singular approach, given by a personal experience in producing dark progressive music for the last years.
