Coming off from Lisbon, Portugal, Smoke had always expressed a global vision inside him when it comes to Hip-Hop Culture. Even tho he's separated by the sea from US, he always felt like living there all the time through all the records he consumed, mostly from East Coast and NYC.

Since he heard Nas' debut ''Illmatic'' LP, one of his favorite records and what made him obtain a taste for production, he took initiative by starting to produce on an old computer software, but the aim was always to cop an MPC or some sorte of drum machine like most of his idols used to do beats with and sample by diggin' on old vinyls.

He materialized that wish some years ago when he finally could afford a drum machine and after that he started taking the craft more seriously, also by noticing that a lot of people liked the beats he used to show on the internet. Those beats would later feature on beat tapes he released over the years.

Lately he completed an EP with the rapper Mo' Justice, where he managed to get a collaboration in one of the singles with Guilty Simpson, one of his favorite rappers.
