Biography: Jens Bond



Jens Bond has carved a niche for himself in the crowded world of electronic music through his exceptional ear for finely crafted, balanced rhythms. As a result, the Berlin based DJ and producer is much in demand, both for his skills in rocking dance-floors and for his sublime studio productions. 

Bringing beats to life is his calling card - percussion and grooves are arranged with intense attention to detail, without sacrificing the underlying funk that marks his sound. 

 The roots run deep - Jens was always devoted to music and began his first musical steps as a drummer for several bands. Following his move to Berlin he became an active member of the electronic music scene, his solid musical background and feeling for rhythm directly influenced his success as a DJ and producer.  As a result, he’s much in demand at top clubs and events in Berlin and further afield. 

Much of his success could be ascribed to his well-tuned ear for the right sound at the right time, along with a sixth sense for rhythmic subtlety. Crisp rhythm pattern and hypnotic melodies have become a signature of his own productions and have led to various releases on some of Berlin’s most prolific labels, including POKER FLAT, SENDER and HIGHGRADE, and UK imprint IMMIGRANT RECORDS.  Working between the boundaries of house and techno, Jens’ tracks are marked by an electronic funk that thrills dance floors time and time again.  What’s more, his releases with Benno Blome (as Bond & Blome) and collaborations with Guido Schneider have produced some sublime and highly popular tracks. With current releases on CADENZA LAB, CITYFOX and AUDIOMATIQUE, his sound continues to develop and reach new audiences, while his work as an in-demand remixer has led to projects with the THOUGHTLESS and HYPERCOLOUR labels. For the near future he has scheduled some interesting collaborations with his friends Guido Schneider and Jacob Phono, which are sure to raise the bar once again. Keep your eyes and ears open!

Bio:

Berlin-based artist ma.ksim discovered his passion for music at an early age. Even at school, he was the one who created the right atmosphere at parties and diligently expanded his music collection.

In 2016, he swapped the dance floor for the DJ booth and has been an integral part of the Berlin club scene ever since. From legendary clubs such as Sisyphos, Rummels Bucht and Kater Blau to Golden Gate, Hoppetosse and Südpol in Hamburg - ma.ksim has rocked them all.

Whether solo or in b2b with other great DJs (Check my Sets 😉), he knows how to feel the vibe of the audience and deliver rousing sets.

Since 2020 ma.ksim is part of the Bladehouse label and works on his own productions. Stay tuned! ✌🏼

Pedro Passoni, also known as Melon Blush, is a Brazilian producer and DJ who explores multidirectional sounds by combining harmony with futuristic, contemporary, and classic timbres that tell stories through time and space, never being limited to genres or labels.

His last releases include Turbo Recordings (Tiga), Clash Lion (Shall Ocin) Records and Massa Records (Renato Cohen). Melon Blush has performed at festivals and clubs such as Universo Paralello (Pratigi/BR), Sisyphos (Berlin/DE), Carlos Capslock (São Paulo/BR), D-EDGE (São Paulo/BR), Oddity (Athens/GR), Bad Festival (Brussels/BE), Ministerium Club (Lisbon/PT), Mensch Meier (Berlin/DE), Mundo Psicodélico Festival (São Paulo/BR), and many others. His productions have received the likes of artists such as Tiga, Danny Daze, Alex Stein, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, L_cio, Floyd Lavine, Mita Gami, Projekt Gestallten, Tessuto, and Victor Ruiz.

"Music has always been about experimenting. At some point, someone picked up a piece of wood and started drumming. Without stereotypes and free to create. Music is one of our essential resources for living as human beings - to express ourselves, explore, play, and constantly discover new paths. It's about and always will be about that."

Working as a discjockey since 2007, Leon Licht has become an all-round DJ and a chameleon of sorts. Being knee deep into Berlin’s pulsating nightlife and his full dedication to the craft have cemented his way to the top. Growing a dedicated following and earning a reputation of delivering energetic vibes. First and foremost stands his ability to adapt his style to a particular mood, place and time. Keeping both ears open for current sounds and trends. But always staying true to his inner rave spirit and matching the energy of his audience. Be it the kind of organic tech-house that sounds like tennis balls being served, fury techno for peak time or a warm blanket of sounds for after-hours.
As a lovechild of Berlin, Leon Licht’s interest for electronic music came through listening to music from 90’s Loveparade compilations and the days of MTV. His early interest and the abundance of nightlife in Berlin made for ideal conditions for his roots in rave to grow. Hanging out from Monday to Sunday in clubs grew the appetite to contribute to the scene himself. Meeting like minded people and absorbing every inch of nightlife along the way.
These days he can be found touring all over Europe, but is always eager to return home to Berlin. Where he regularly plays Wilde Renate, Kater Blau, Watergate and his ever evolving residency in Sisyphos. Where he gets hordes of people into the groove and delivers his versatile array of flavours on any floor. With a steady stream of gigs lined up, he shows no signs of taming down his relentless hunger of being part of nightlife.

Berlin-based, Danish electronic music producer, DJ, singer, audio engineer and manager of self-conceived record label Collage Audio. Not long after Jacob Phono, also known as PhonoKemi, launched his diverse yet discernible musical orbit through the worldwide music scene, many of his productions levitated among the Top 10 most sold on Beatports Minimal and Techhouse charts, with releases on numerous best-known European and intercontinental labels, such as Cocoon Recordings, Bedrock Records, Plastic City, Highgrade, Cityfox, Heinz Music, Audiomatique, Fantastic Friends Recordings, and Noir Music.
