brilliance !!  Not only just in ELP, but the Keith Emerson Band, 3, 3.2   and his solo soundtracks and orchestra pieces. The Three Fates conducted by Terje Mikkelsen with Marc Bonilla,  you have got to check that out..  He Said " I only wanted to be known as a composer"  in his later years. those who got to see his play with Brian Auger at the Sour Grapes were so lucky.  So here is my Humble Improv don't cringe too much  Peace G And I raise a toast to the Maestro!

I have been playing around with.....ii V I progressions and the Bebop A dominant scale. I call this one an Indie Dark Jazz flavor. Hope you will like some part of it and maybe hum along before it ends.....

Mixer: API 24 channel summing mixer (8200/7800)
Stereo Bus processing (API EQ and API compressor)
Final mix down to a MARA MCI JH110 1/4inch 2-track at 15 ips using ATR Master Tape. I used an input and output transformer to give some additional harmonic distortion......I just like pushing the buttons and watching the reels spin…;-)

I close my POTENCIAL BIÓTICO album with this contemporary revival of a philosophical song I wrote 19 years ago when my grandpa died.

Could describe it as a requiem for guitar quartet, 2 voices, rhythmic base & church bell (you may know the piano version at https://soundcloud.com/esemanolain-ruizzo/sets/piano-sessions-2012 album).

A mostly slow piece with lotta soul and no artistic ambition (but a little ‘Pros&Cons’ air to the end ;).

Douglas Adams challenged the world and asked the question “Why?” in such a witty and perceptive way that it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it captured my reason to be in a way no writer has before or since. “The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy” has become an international best seller so it’s therefore a surprise, at least to me, not to see his name mentioned more frequently on regularly published lists of history’s most significant authors.  Whilst it’s no doubt true that I wouldn’t be someone whose opinion you’d seek out as an authority on such things, I do find it hard to believe that a man who created something so hilariously and philosophically original doesn’t get the true recognition he deserves. “Hitch Hiker” was so much more than a work of science fiction.  It was something that taught us the valuable life lesson that there really was no need to have an answer to everything.
Has anyone heard of Douglas? Well, he was certainly the man who let me know I wasn't on my own.

Once again, my grateful thanks to Hans (also a ‘Hitch Hiker’ fan, by the way) for the brilliant arrangement on this song.  But he’s just this guy, you know…

The art of living
This is a song about escape and freedom to be at one with nature and the elements .
we are living in strange days and my instincts tell me to go find the spirits of the great outdoors and reconnect with nature and find some grounding also i feel the need to create as artists we are currently stranded souls left on a empty beach waiting for everything to open  up and re-connect again .
I hope this song finds you some piece of mind as i make this music out  of love and creative purpose ...for now lets wait  for the dance to happen again ..over and out
