Patrick Chen (formerly known as PTX) has reinvented himself as ‘Animato’, with a new style bordering on the delicate meeting point of modern Progressive Psy Trance. The new project was a natural step, as with all the years of traveling the globe to countless festivals, he was given firsthand experience to have his way on the worldwide psychedelic dance-floor. This surely was one of the contributing factors that made him decide to lower his tempo, adding smoother elements to his music and punchier edge to his production. His work was immediately noticed by HOMmega and he was asked to join their impressive roaster of talented artists. The first Animato track was released in 2012. It was a remix for Sub6’s “Droid save da queen” and since then the road was paved with high quality releases and remixes.

At this time we are pleased to announce on NODATA the first EP made by P.E.U. under this alias. He is from the Brazilian state of Pernambuco and brings to us some interesting tunes to our family.
"Connected" is a straight forward melodic techno song. The main melody brings tension and relief together depending on where it comes during the track. Very good for peak time on open air events.
"Hypnotic" has that feeling of space trips and astronomy. It can take you to a different dimension if you close your eyes.
"Much More" is the lightest from the EP but not less heavy. It's blends perfectly with the other two tracks bringing the club feeling with the looped vocal and hypnotic melody. The breakbeat breakdown really makes you pay attention to this track and ask who is this from.
For his first EP under the name P.E.U, Pedro couldn't start in a better way. Check it out and keep connected to NODATA.
