Formerly known as SOL, Solomon France has been making waves in the drum & bass world since signing to Viper with his unique brand of “surf DnB”. Following on from recent singles “Let You Down” and “In The Darkness”, both serving as a first taste of the EP, Viper are proud to present the debut EP of one of the scene’s most talented newcomers: “Locals Only”.

Featuring five original tracks, Solomon France further cements his position in the scene as one to watch with this release. The first track, “Fall” featuring Moon Jelly, is the perfect first taste of what to expect from the EP. Upbeat and bubbly with an acoustic edge, Moon Jelly’s vocals add a magical touch to the track’s intro, painting a serene scene before exploding into a colourful and futuristic drop.

Up next, “Blame” sees Solomon France team up with Alec Primavera once again (the two previously worked together on “I’ll Be Ready”, “So Far Away”, and “I’ll Never Change”) for a soulful second track. Gentle vocals glide over glimmering melodies, creating a comforting space from start to finish.

The third track is a collaboration with Konkai (the artist formerly known as Bustre) - a tantalising take on the darker side of drum & bass. Delivering the same mystical charm present in all of Solomon France’s production, together with Konkai’s technical prowess, the end result certainly is a “Wake Up” call to anyone who may have been sleeping on these two. Gritty yet still with a euphoric energy throughout, “Wake Up” is a memorable addition to the Viper catalogue.

WIth three brand new tracks sitting alongside previous singles “Let You Down” and “In The Darkness”, Solomon France has delivered a seriously well-round debut EP - “Locals Only” is sure to be the first of many milestones in the budding producer’s career.
