Around the Whiskey Jar is a Medley based on 5 traditional Irish tunes (Star of the County down, She moved through the fair, Maurice Manley’s Polka, Down by the Salley Gardens, What should we do with the drunken Sailor). The idea of the composer was to feature some not that popular Irish melodies and to recreate, as much as possible, an Irish Tavern atmosphere. Bodhran drum, Singing parts and Fiddle-like sections are featured in this piece to make the ambiance lively, genuine and wild. Hey !!

At a pause in the journey, the king’s colors lift in the cool air. Soldiers check their gear, tighten straps, and share quiet glances. Percival holds the banner firmly as the wind catches it. The morning light glows through the fabric, turning it into a bright sign of unity. For the men gathered there, the standard represents everything they have sworn to uphold.

The company was founded in 1933 by Pieter Jan Molenaar under the name Molenaar’s Muziekhandel. In the 1970s, his sons Jan and Bob joined the growing company. The name was changed to Molenaar’s Muziekcentrale, and later to Molenaar Edition BV.
