Minimal Mystic is a new music label. Our purpose is to collect unique audio recordings from many different cultures and traditions of our world in order to combine special “Various Artists Eps” music collections with separate ethnographic subjects and elements of our sound banks. With the aim to experiment with those recordings we’re striving to create special tracks into Downtempo and Midtempo Organic & Minimalistic electronic waveforms. Let’s travel around our world, our past and our future with Minimal Mystic music magic bus.
In our fifth music journey we’ve got some amazing recordings by traditional African tribes. Africa’s music tradition is one of the richest traditions in the world combining a huge portion of different styles, rhythms, voices and music instruments. Without a doubt Africa is probably the motherland of all sounds as music floats forwards and backwards to the continent (bringing back influences from other traditions) throughout the years of slavery and flourish into a unique and amazingly beautiful outcome. For this journey we’ve invited four quality artists of the Downtempo/Organic-House/Electronica scene to get inspiration and use these recordings in order to come out with their own tracks. The end result is purely magic as we travel from Greece to Italy and from Germany to USA with a kaleidoscope of sounds and moods. Anber, Ka:lu, M.Age.Poroject and Veytik are the pilots for this amazing journey into past, present and future by Minimal Mystic Records. Dig deep and you’ll find a world of mysticism, contradictions and pure, crystal clear beautiful sounds!

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well! I am very excited about my upcoming release, my first EP "Closer Minds." This project has been a great adventure, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to share it with all of you.

In this EP, I have explored a wide range of musical influences, from Downtempo with touches of Afro-Latin rhythms, to Techno and Trance. My goal has been to create a sound that is dynamic, exciting, and full of energy. Each of the three songs in this EP represents a different facet of my musical style, and I am excited to share that with all of you.

The first song, "Closer Minds," is an organic slow Techno track that describes how billions of neurons in our brain work together to generate a conscious experience.

The second song, "Artificial Dreams," is an organic slow Trance track with influences of psychedelic rock that talks about how our dreams have a hidden meaning that can serve us in the process of self-knowledge.

The third song, "Selfishness," is inspired by a speech by Alan Watts and talks about the importance of knowing oneself and contemplating death for a more creative and fulfilling life.

In summary, Closer Minds is an EP that represents my love for electronic music and my desire to create music that makes people feel excited and alive. I hope you enjoy listening to it.

As she sat back, she began to wonder, “How is this stream salty? I am far from the ocean. This is very strange.” And unable to contain her curiosity, she forgot about her thirst and began to follow it. The stream widened and deepened, becoming more of a river than a stream. Just as she began to think that she should return to her journey, she began to hear deep moans that gently shook the earth. “Who’s there?” she shouted. “Help!” a muffled voice whimpered. “Can you help me?” “I’m coming!” she called. She quickly put down her compass on the side of the water, and waded in. The water was warm, like bathwater, and clear as glass. She could see her feet and all the stones and leaves at the bottom of the stream. As she moved toward the voice the water rose higher and higher, to her knees and then almost to her neck. “Are you still there?” the voice asked plaintively. “Please help me!” “I’m coming!” she called again. She took a deep breath and dove toward the voice. The salt water stung her eyes so she closed them tightly until she broke through the surface. When she finally opened her eyes, she almost sank back under water with shock. Because there in front of her was… a DRAGON! Pluzhnik takes the dragon out of his cave for a mushroom soup. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These tracks can give an emergency call. Maris, ManojPuri and Dakarai (MX) come from the land where animals can speak and trees are made of poetry.

Este EP es un reencuentro conmigo mismo, con música que vengo arrastrando desde niño por influencia de mis padres y de mi entorno en general.

Es muy ambiguo tratar de entender o expresar un tema concreto cuando la voz no está cantando o narrando a detalle así que se puede y se vale interpretar las canciones de este ep a como el corazón de cada quien lo sienta; sin embargo muy en el fondo todo el ep hace alusión a Apetlanca, un poblado en una sierra en el estado de Guererro en México.
