Dinky has come forward with “Casa”, the first single from her forthcoming album due out this autumn on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels label. The tracks were recorded whilst she was resting at home, pregnant with her second son. Due to a medical risk, Dinky was forced to stay in bed and decided to keep herself busy by writing music.

Whilst the original features summery, almost blissful vocal hooks interspersed with acid bass gurgles, Satori’s remix takes thing down an altogether more turbulent route. Initially ambient and spaced out, it then morphs into a driving techno track, combined with reverberating pads and choral wails.

Watergate resident Marco Resmann has given the original more of a techno flavor, with one of his signature break-glass-in-case-of-emergency remixes. Pink Hangover has a dreamier approach. It's like coming home after a long raving rampage, watching the sun rise through your cracked window, pondering. Jose Noventa takes it down a notch, only to take the dreaminess up a notch or two.

Happy Camper 003 has a suitable soundtrack for each part of your extended weekend. Could it be because all of the contributing artists are residents of the world's undisputed rave capital? Is it a Berlin thing? Probably.

Witchtape #41 | Guest Wizz : Anatolian Sessions

(Story continued from Witchtape #38)
It was a cold and sunny winter day, and the witch’s forest was covered in a white blanket of snow.  All the forest dwellers came back to life from their winter slumber by this magic snow carpet, and this included the little witch herself.  And exactly on that beautiful day, her wizard returned from an epic 8-month pilgrimage to the lands of his ancestors in Africa.  Like most witches and wizards, they have a peculiar way of greeting each other, and instead of hugging and kissing, they started a game of hide-and-seek in the snow-covered woods, with the young witch playfully running through the snow and climbing trees while the wizard was trying to catch her… not that he even came close as the little witch knew every square inch of her forest and in any case, she’s way faster and more agile than the giant wizard, as he’s over a century older and one foot taller than the nimble petite witch.
Soon the woods were filled with her playful giggles and his loud laughter, while the birds and animals of the forest followed the ebullient couple from a safe distance, making sure not to disturb the two lovers while at the same time they didn’t want to miss one second of this cheerful spectacle…
Finally, around dusk time they reached the far end of the forest and the witch jumped swiftly on a fallen tree, so that she was standing one foot above the ground… which meant that their eyes were at the same level.  The wizard stopped at 3 meters distance from the girl, still catching his breath and chuckling at the same time.  The mood turned more serious as he finally could look into her mesmerizing green eyes, soaking up her youthful energy, while at the same time, when looking at his grey beard, she felt that his wisdom had increased immensely during his long trip to the African continent.  It was getting a bit dark, and the wizard stretched out his hands and launched a few dozens of little floating lights in the air, which magically aligned themselves in a perfect circle around the two lovers.
Then the wizard slowly approached the smiling girl, and he saw a tear of joy rolling down her cheek, making it clear how much she had missed him.  Also he felt his eyes getting wet, while they both reached out their hands to each other.  All the animals and birds were holding their breath as they watched this endearing spectacle, trying their best not to make any noise and avoid disturbing the two lovebirds who were standing in the middle of this circle of little floating lights.  And finally… after what seemed to be an eternity, their lips touched and they exchanged the most tender kiss the forest had ever seen, making all the onlooking animals forget their vow of complete silence and a collective ‘Awwwwwwww’ descended upon the snow-covered magic forest… while the little lights slowly faded away, plunging the enchanted forest in complete darkness on this new moon night…

Da brodelt es aber diesesmal ordentlich in der heimlichen Gerüchteküche! Alle Ventile stehen auf Anschlag, die Kessel pfeiffen und tief unten im Topf braut sich langsam aber stetig Druck auf. 

Der Druckanzeiger am Deckel voll im roten Bereich und wir wundern uns weshalb es immer nebliger in der Küche wird. Vor lauter Dampf merken wir gar nicht, dass uns der Kopf in die Hose rutscht und das Herz unter dem Arm liegt. Oder war das anders herum? Naja, mittlerweile auch schon egal, es wird ja eh nichts so heiss gegessen wie es gekocht wird.

Jedenfalls lichtet sich der aufgestiegene Dampf langsam wieder und siehe da, es kocht heute iorie, wer hätte das gedacht <3

The seventh EP of the label will be by the name of the Bolivian producer IVA. The EP consists of three originals of which the title track is in collaboration with Vero Pérez on the vocals. Besides the talented producer Arude managed to create an intriguing remix.
For the remix of the title track ‘Distorted’ Arude took the original vocal and placed it into a darker and melodic focused remix. He created a high tension track with next to these melodic touches some interesting drum rolls.

Volume two of Teenage Mutants longest release to date carries on the suspended tension from the previous volume into a melodic resolution. First track 'Organica', a collaboration with DJ and producer Heerhorst and Aves Volare showcases a new dimension of the artists style, with the low sung vocals sustaining the enchanting harmony of the main pads. Its fairly easy to see how the entire album is aimed squarely at the dancefloor, with compelling slow burners like 'Dawn' or 'Verboten' ready to arrest any audience.
