Image design and composition is probably one of the most fundamental forms of artistic expression. This field of art is almost infinite in its possible manifestations. An image can be created with highly complex computer programmes or with the simplest of means. In the digital cosmos, each pixel can be configured exactly according to the artists ideas and wishes. In contrast, impressive works of art can also be created with natural materials such as stones, twigs or with coal. The ability to compose images is as complicated as it is simple. It depends on the artist and his creative intention. The first single by Atric & Frida Darko on KataHaifisch is highly individual and absolutely unique. The song tells a story about the diversity and beauty of colours. Over the course of the 6-minute playtime each colour gets its well-deserved attention. Meanwhile, various synths playing their catchy melodies and create a moody atmosphere, which unfolds its potential on headphones as well as in an open air or club setting. Fabian Krooss & Frida Darko - Phoenix [A Tribe Called Kotori]

On October 30th, the day has finally arrived for us to present the new EP from @thea-schtu. We’ve been big fans of their sound for a while, which makes us all the more excited that this EP has come together.

The two original tracks showcase the duo’s impressive range of musical styles. The title track, "Odyssee," is marked by a deep melody and signature synth elements, while the second track, "No, What?" stands out with its groovier touches, yet remains unmistakably true to the distinctive style of thea & schtu.

The originals are complemented by equally diverse remixes from our friends @laaarmusic, @samahamusic, and @sydkasd. We’re very pleased with the result and would like to thank all the artists involved, as well as @haunted_water and @iorie for the mastering, and Kilian Van de Water for the striking artwork.

Our little label baby is growing and following the compilation premiere in early 2024, it’s finally time for the first EP release on SᑕᕼLEIᑕᕼEᑎᕲ. ‚Instincts‘ comes with two powerful originals from the DeepSpace-producer-duo Friends of Hannes, cherry-topped with two beautiful remixes by talented Crépite legend AiRKA and the maestro of mighty downtempo tunes Nada. Within this EP, all the artists’ individual and diverse signature styles merge into a coherent soundscape between pulsating basslines and hypnotic vibes - somewhat embracing the beauty of the dark just in time while outside the seasons are changing.
