First release of the year and seventeenth of NFR series recorded and delivered by artist from Chile - John Plaza. Being quite new to production he already managed to catch some attention with his well crafted minimalistic ambient techno music. This 8 original tracks album called 'Altostrados' is not an exception - it's full of cinematic synth lines, dreamy pads and atmospheres as well as groovy and hypnotic percussion rhythms. John Plaza is also a co-founder of Chilean label - Dosis Records. Remixer this time and already known to our listeners - Smoley from Belarus. Mastering by Motion Symmetry. NFR019 - recorded by our friend from Germany, who's productions we really like and who is also part of Nebula Collective, Murky fm. Album contains 6 originals, to describe - punchy, groovy, somewhere melancholic deep techno recordings. We are also very happy to have Soren Aalberg on our label for the very first time with an awesome interpretation of the track 'Datura'.

Artist's profile:

The varied musical path of Murky fm started in his youth with punk/hardcore and metal. He played guitar and drums and sang in several bands. His growing passion for hip-hop led him to learn how to produce beats, which soon motivated him to start his first electronic projects. After breathing the air of the Freetek scene in Spain for two years, he had finally fallen for the anarchic techno spirit and initially DJed without a DJ name and collective/label. Only shortly before he officially joined the Nebula collective did he choose to come up with an artist name and focus on producing techno. He usually moves in the gloomy, hypnotic sphere of techno but may also be considered a `techno jack of all trades` since he's not averse to playing any style.

Mary Yuzovskaya's vinyl-only, Berlin-via-Brooklyn Monday Off label is back to techno's shadowy depths; where the music's subtle dynamics unfurl in intensely cerebral and psychedelic ways. Italian maestro and Midgar, AWRY and Semantica artist Ruhig returns to MOFF with this stunning new four track release of hypnotic soundscapes.

If the first rays of dawn could be captured in a deep techno track, it would sound something like opener Metaverse with its glistening, understated euphoria. Numerical Analysis plunges back into the darkness, as tension mounts via clattering dissonance throughout. On the flip, Abbreviation pulsates with driving rhythms and heady atmospherics. MOFF favourite Claudio PRC reworks Numerical Analysis into a groove-centric banger that ebbs and flows with mesmerizing precision while also being infectiously danceable.

The Chilean artist, Samuel Wilson, founder and owner of Dosis Records, makes his debut on the Mothership with an Ep that has the concept of an album, as he tells us about a hypothetical journey to the border of 2 possible worlds in the universe. The gravitational and hypnotic sound touches the boundaries of physics and pushes us beyond the limits of the imaginable. To accompany him in the space trip Dorian Gray gives his touch to this 'scientific' Ep.

PREMIERE: Sam Wilson - Parabolic Denial [#DORIAN017]

Sequenzial Shift is a new label project from Alex Dolby based in Italy that will focus on deeper and more experimental cuts. A veteran artist of the scene and highly prized producer known for releasing on Developer's Modularz, Emmanuel's ARTS, Marco Bailey's MB Elektronics, Teksupport and his own Affekt Recordings. His educated sound is much loved around the world and Functional Elements is an album that steps into leftfield territory with raw ideas and esoteric, analog creations with modular vibes and dystopian, ambient dubs. Monument premieres his track "Function Six" from the release "Functional Elements", which will be out on the 27th of January.
