Hailing from the vibrant underground scene of small-town Sweden, 25-year-old Psykoterapi draws inspiration from her roots and experiences. In just over a year since stepping behind the decks, she has graced the stages of various underground parties in Eskilstuna, where she was raised, as well as in Uppsala and Stockholm, where she is now based.

Psychedelic Therapist, as her name translates, captivates audiences with her unique blend of fast-paced, hard-hitting, hypnotic, groovy, and minimal tribal sounds. Her sets evoke a therapeutic ambience, inviting listeners into a space where dance and community converge. For Psykoterapi, creating an environment where people can connect and feel a sense of belonging is her true passion.

Since stepping behind the decks in early 2023, she has graced the stages of various parties in different cities and now became one of the rising UG dj’s in Stockholm.
Venues and parties in Stockholm (where she now is based) at Spektrum, Slakthuset, Resebyrån and Four_6 collective to name a few.

Her sets includes a unique blend of fast-paced, hard-hitting, groovy, hypnotic, and minimal sounds. 

Interview with Psykoterapi:


Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I was curious about learning since I started going to raves back in 2017 and was especially very inspired by my DJ-friends. Also the thought of picking the music and sharing a journey. I wanted to challenge myself with something I so long were scared to do because of anxiety.

Q: Describe your style in three words?
A: Hypnotic, groovy and minimal

Q: Your best set in 2023/2024?
A: My first “real gig” in Uppsala summer 2023, maybe not because of the track selection and mixing skills but the feeling and vibe over all that I felt that night.

Q: Your favourite track right now?
A: Hard to pick one but one of my favorites right now is Pierce - Muun. I love the sounds and the track blends well with a lot of other tracks in my collection.

As a DJ, she has quickly made her mark in the scene. Since stepping behind the decks in early 2023, she has established herself as one of Stockholm’s rising DJ talents, currently holding residencies at the underground rave concept Spektrum and at Koordinat, a club and rave event concept. 

Her sets are known for their high-energy atmosphere, blending fast-paced, dark groove, hypnotic loops and broken/break beats with minimalistic rhythms to create a unique and immersive experience.
